About this property

Barnoon Villa, St Ives

Barnoon Villa is a wonderful St Ives town house with parking and great sea views. It is a very short walk to Porthmeor beach and the harbour front. It sleeps 7 in two king size bedrooms (the top floor one is with ensuite shower room), a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. If you have a baby or toddler, then please do request a booking for 8, we will be happy to consider this. There is also a family bathroom with bath and shower over, wash basin and WC and a ground floor shower room with WC and wash basin. All the bedrooms have a wall-mounted Smart TV so everyone gets to watch what they want - no family tiffs!

The kitchen is at the back of the house and is very well-equipped. It has a dishwasher, washer/ dryer as well as an induction hob and oven and large fridge/freezer. The living room is at the front of the house and has a large Smart TV with sound bar as well as an Xbox with a selection of games. The dining room is between the kitchen and living room and has a large table to seat 8 easily. Perfect for family meals or huge puzzles!

There is a paved area at the back of the house that can easily and safely store bikes, surfboards, bodyboards and wet suits. There is an outside hot shower too. At the front of the house there is a garden with a large bench table and chairs on astro turf.

Porthmeor beach is 2 minutes’ walk away and the town centre with all of its restaurants, bars and cafes and the harbour is just 2 minutes on foot.

There is free WiFi throughout the house.

There is an allocated parking space on Bedford Road which is in an undercover garage. You can load and unload your car directly outside the house (via a fairly narrow lane) or park up around 30m away and walk your luggage to the front door.

Please note, the parking space for Barnoon Villa measures 5m from front to back and the width of the space is 2.3m and the height is 2.07m so please check if your car will fit! Barnoon car park is so close by too if you have a second car or if you have a very large car too big for the parking space.

All bed linen, bath towels and utilities are included in the rate. Travel cot and high chairs can be hired from a local company.

1 well-behaved dog is accepted (terms and conditions apply as well as a £50 pet fee per week).

Please refer to the Rental Agreement during the booking process for our detailed cancellation policy. We do offer a refund structure but on VRBO we have needed to select 'no refund'. We offer flexible cancellation conditions in the case of Covid government travel restrictions. Please email us at Orange Roofs if you have any specific questions, we will be so happy to help you.

Lovely out-of-season stay in St Ives
We had a lovely visit to St. Ives staying at Barnoon Villa. The property is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed, and the location is fantastic, within easy walking distance of the centre and with. great views out over the town and the sea. Upon arrival, we were extremely glad to find some lovely local bread, eggs, tea, coffee and milk awaiting us. The dedicated parking space in the nearby garage was extremely handy. We will definitely be back for another visit!

Just perfect
A very comfortable, well equipped house in a great location. We particularly appreciated the 3 bathrooms, easy access to the beach & large yard with hot shower after surfing!

Easter Break
We all loved this property. As Parents with grownup children and their partners, it was refreshing to have accommodation suitable for 6 adults. All the facilities worked perfectly and we were all comfortable throughout our stay. We enjoyed the location, both close to the beach and the town and the parking worked well too. We would stay hear again without hesitation.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location
A cosy, comfortable house with an excellent standard of cleanliness and specification, and incredibly well placed to make the most of the wonderful things St Ives would have to offer - a 5 min walk from some amazing beaches, and literally round the corner from the Tate and the Barbara Hepworth gallery and garden! Would love to visit again.

Overview
Excellent location of property although many steps to climb from the town centre back to the property could be a struggle for some people. Car parking good but could have been in space closer to the property, loading and unloading the car sometimes challenging. Property clean, well equipped and lots of space for a large family with a private courtyard. Outside shower invaluable for wetsuits and equipment. Very responsive management company - excellent stay.
