THE BEACH GETAWAY DREAM
The name says it all. It is a 2bedroom 2 bath condo with a loft that also sleeps two people located directly across the street from the beach . The huge windows provide one of the best views on the island. This unit was recently renovated and offers upscale accommodations with a family price.. The unit is dog friendly, pet fee depends on the type of dog. Each of the bedrooms has a ceiling fan to keep the cool sea breeze moving. The loft has two single beds. The front porch has comfortable rockers, so you can sip wine and watch the sun go down. The living room has 16 foot ceilings, with large windows facing the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. The sparkling pool has a covered deck and Weber charcoal grills for grilling after a long day at the beach or sightseeing.
This location allows you close access to the bike trail that spans the entire length of the island. Within walking distance to this place is waterfront dining offering great outdoor seating and live music most evenings, as well as the St. George Island Lighthouse. Just over the St. George Island Bridge is the bridge to Apalachicola which is one of Florida’s most historic coastal towns offering fresh seafood right out of the bay, fantastic art galleries, antique shops and unique nightlife.
Some of the popular pursuits on the island are swimming, walking, running, and cycling. The St. George Island State Park is located at the east end of the island.
As a fisherman, I can personally vouch for the great fishing spots. Some of the fish just waiting to be caught are: redfish, flounder, trout, and whiting.
Enjoy the world renowned 'Apalachicola' Oysters at most of the local hot spots.

This property was purchased just three months ago, and professionally renovated and decorated. The kitchen is equipped for a chef that enjoys cooking and the twenty foot ceilings with the large windows really makes the condo feel beachy. I also own VRBO # 590005 if you like a more rustic look with amazing wood work and italian tile
What makes this property unique
The closeness of this amazing unit to the beach, the swimming pool and the bike trail are huge benefits. I love the fact that the unit is at ground level, you don't have to climb stairs to enter or exit the unit. It is literally 300 feet from the porch to the sand dunes.The unit is pet friendly, but you must check that you will be bringing your furry friends with you when you request to book. Pet fee is $125 for each animal.
