About the host

I, Omur Akca, am an original "Kalkanese" :) Nevertheless, being a software engineer, I've lived out of Kalkan, keeping my nose to the grindstone in business life. The larger part of my life was in Istanbul, the city that really never sleeps :) I've worked in electronics and Industrial automation sector, developing software and control systems. I now live in the UK with my 11 yr old son Deniz, and my wife Devrim, running my own industrial automation consultancy company.

My dad, Omer has passed away in 2010 and my mum, Zuhal, she is still resident in our familiy house, which is located just in front of this property. She is a retired primary school teacher and so far she has done amazing job to take care about our two houses and the garden for long years. My sister Pinar, lives and works in the city of Antalya.

Akca Villa is a humble but extremely comfortable family house. Since we, as the kids, are away, we designated this house as a holiday home. I hope you also enjoy your time here.

What makes this property unique

Akca Villa is located on a very central spot which is overlooking the landscape view of beautiful Kalkan bay, whilst still very close to the town center and the sea. A home-grown large garden provides better insulation from other houses in the area. Its strategic location allows easy and quick transportation to nearby destinations.
