About this property

Large house with pool and garden, near Athens and the beach

A double-storey, luxuriously decorated private villa, located in a 4-acre estate. It is perfect for both winter and summer escapes. Surrounded by trees, it is entirely secluded from the surrounding properties (which are very few). The house is big enough that you can enjoy quiet moments even in a big group. Pet-friendly! Also suitable for event hosting (e.g. wedding receptions). There are two fireplaces in the house, a piano and barbeque equipment. Breakfast basics will be provided (crackers, cookies, butter, jam, coffee, tea etc). There are also swimming pool games (floating bed etc), gym equipment (see picture) as well as some board games.

Why they chose this property

This property is like an oasis - the perfect escape from the hectic rhythms of Athens, but at a short distance from the beauties of the Greek capital. We bought the land with my husband because we wanted a plot of land to cultivate our own vegetables and fruit, including a vineyard. The house was built from scratch and has evolved slowly into its current form; it has accommodated our large family on many happy occasions.
