Silver Hills - Mediterranean Hideaway

On the hills of Moneglia, a pearl awarded every year with the "Blue Flag" - for the quality of beaches and waters - and the "Orange Flag", as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, in one of the most enchanting areas of Liguria, halfway between Portofino and the Cinque Terre, lies the house Colline d'Argento - Silver hills.

The outdoor / garden area is the perfect refuge from the chaos of the center, a place to relax and have breakfast in a nice garden surrounded by flowers and satisfy the senses with the aromas of Ligurian countryside. It is equipped with table and benches.

Recently renovated, the house is equipped with the main comforts.

The house is equipped with:
- a new kitchen complete with appliances (hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, kettle);
- a private bathroom equipped with hairdryer, courtesy set and shower cabin.
In the common areas you will also have WIFI, welcome set, flat-screen satellite TV, sofa, iron and ironing board, kettle. A child cot bed is available on request.

On-site parking is private and free.

It will be a pleasure to welcome you. We speak English, Spanish and Italian.

Perfection in Moneglia

Our stay at colline d’argento was truly magical. The location is awesome: It’s lovely being slightly out of the center of town and yet close enough to drive down for dinners and days at the beach. The house is clean and spacious, and the veranda is perfection. The host, Michele, is a great communicator and has a wonderful to-do list. And his English is flawless!

Een mooi en compleet huis met een eigen parkeerplaats. Heel schoon, groot, modern en was van alles voorzien. De informatie van de host/eigenaar was uitgebreid en hij reageerde snel. Het huis was rustig gelegen ongeveer een kilometer van de kust, wat wij zoeken, weg van de drukte.Het enige nadeel was, dat er geen horren aanwezig waren, dus wel wat last gehad van muggen.

La maison et la terrasse extérieure sont vraiment superbes, trÚs propre, cuisine trÚs bien équipée, on s'est senti trÚs bien durant cette semaine à Moneglia. Les indications de Michele sont trÚs claires, il communique parfaitement sur whatsap et nous a donné plein de renseignement sur ce qu'il faut voir dans la région, comment y aller, ses bonnes adresses restaurant... son huile d'olive est excellente et on en a rapporté dans nos bagages. La route est effectivement étroite mais on s'habitue idem pour le fait qu'elle passe en bas, aucun bruit la nuit c'est trÚs calme. Bref, mille mercis encore Michele, nous avons passé un trÚs bon séjour à Moneglia.

Komfortable Wohnung bei tollem StÀdtchen

Die Wohnung ist sehr großzĂŒgig und sauber. Die Einrichtung ist neu oder neuwertig. Wenn einen die Kirchenglocken stören, kann man die Fenster schließen. Das reicht. Ebenso, wenn man den wenigen Verkehr der Bergstraße als störend empfindet. Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Terrasse war unser bevorzugter Aufenthaltsort. Sie ist sehr schön. Man sieht Kirche, Dorf und Berge. Da die Fenster keine Fliegengitter haben, hilft im Sommer nur der MĂŒckenschutz mit Verdampfer in der Steckdose. ZunĂ€chst waren wir etwas skeptisch. Nach Internetrecherche und Empfehlung vom Vermieter haben wir sie dann doch verwendet. Sie sind sehr wirksam und man riecht nichts. Die etwas abgeschiedene Lage hat den Nachteil, dass man unbedingt ein Auto braucht. Wir haben es ĂŒberwiegend dazu verwendet, zum Bahnhof (kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz) oder in das StĂ€dtchen zu fahren. Moneglia ist wirklich ideal. Es hat alles was man braucht und ist zwar touristisch, aber kein Hot-Spot. Auch der Strand ist sehr schön. Cinque Terre, Genua etc. haben wir mit dem Zug erkundet.

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit wunderschöner Terrasse

Wir haben uns als Familie mit 2 Kindern sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Die Wohnung ist groß, hell und sehr sauber. Diese wurde neu renoviert und ist modern ausgestattet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man fĂŒr den tĂ€glichen Bedarf benötigt. Micele ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und gibt gute Tipps. Am Haus fĂŒhrt eine Dorfstraße vorbei. Hier kann es gelegentlich zu Autoverkehr kommen. Wir können die Wohnung mit toller Terrasse sehr empfehlen!!!

Tolles Haus, ruhige Lage und eine wunderschöne Terrasse!

Mitten in OlivenbÀumen auf dem Berg mit einer tollen Aussicht. Das Haus ist frisch und mit Geschmack saniert worden, die Terrasse ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Michele ist ein super Gastgeber, nett, vorkommend und unkompliziert. Ein Parkplatz ist direkt vor dem Haus vorhanden, frisch gezapftes Olivenöl kann man ebenfalls bei Michele kaufen.

It was one of the best places I ever visited

I write to thank Michele for our amazing time in his house in Moneglia. I have been traveling a lot and rented different properties but never seen something so clean, so tastefully organized, so comfortable as Michail' house. Special thank you for having everything so amazingly clean and fresh, everything like new. The house is located on the hill, where we feel very privately being away from downtown but at the same time we could easily reach by foot or by bus all attractions of the town's life. We visited some towns/villages next to Moneglia and I think none of them was as beautiful and as cozy as our beloved Moneglia. There were several opera concerts during our stay in the town. We could listen to the voices and the music from our place and because the house is on the hill, the echoes which mountains create made it sound like angels sang from the clouds. In addition, sounds of bells from churches make you feel very peaceful. Thank you a lot again. I dream to be back. Warmly Yanina

Clean, beautiful, comfortable stay

We found the town of Moneglia on a whim and then found the most beautiful apartment, we stayed 9 nights with my husband, my mom, our 3 year old daughter and myself and we were all very comfortable, more than enough room for all of us. The apartment was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay, the beds were comfortable and our host was so helpful and always replied right away and was super kind. The town is breathtaking we stayed here to be close to cinque Terre and didn’t end up going but just staying and enjoying the enchanting town of Moneglia itself and enjoying days walking around and at the beach and such great food. If you are looking for a story-book type of place this is it! Would recommend to everyone and we hope to come back one day and stay again and again. We were very lucky to find it and be able to call this beautiful house home for a few days.

Tolles Appartement mit Terasse bei freundlichen und engagierten Vermietern

Ein perfektes Appartment mit großer Terasse, sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Der Vermieter war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns schon im Voraus viele gute Informationen gegeben. Perfekt war auch, dass zum Appartement ein Parkplatz im Centrum gehörte.

Wir haben in der Unterkunft zwei wunderschöne Urlaubswochen verbracht.

Die Wohnung liegt oberhalb des StĂ€dtchens Moneglia. Ob beim FrĂŒhstĂŒck, dem Sonnenbaden oder dem Abendessen auf der Terrasse, man hat von dort immer einen wunderbaren Blick ĂŒber die umliegenden Olivenhaine und das Meer. Die Terrasse ist sehr schön bepflanzt. Sie eignet sich bestens fĂŒr einen Tag Pause vom Sightseeing. Auch Innen ist die Unterkunft sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man, wĂ€hrend des Urlaubs so gebrauchen kann. Außerdem gibt es eine Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor dem Haus, was in dieser Gegend sehr nĂŒtzlich ist. Von der Unterkunft aus erreicht man Moneglia mit dem Auto innerhalb weniger Minuten. Das StĂ€dtchen hat einen lĂ€ngeren KĂŒstenstreifen mit Strand, eine Promenade und eine kleine FußgĂ€ngerzone. Ob mit dem Zug oder mit dem Auto, Moneglia ist ein guter Startpunkt, um die italienische Rivera von Genua bis nach La Spezia zu erkunden. Wer genug von Strand- und KĂŒstenurlaub hat, dem können wir auch einen Ausflug in das bergische Hinterland empfehlen. Moneglia selbst hat einen kleinen Bahnhof. Wer also keine Lust hat auf Parkplatzsuche zu gehen, ist dort auch gut versorgt. Der Vermieter ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Bereits im Vorhinein hat er uns mit sehr vielen nĂŒtzlichen Informationen versorgt und war wĂ€hrend unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes immer fĂŒr uns erreichbar. Er wohnt oben mit im Haus, war aber immer sehr zurĂŒckhaltend, sodass wir uns fast wie allein gefĂŒhlt haben. Der Kontakt mit ihm verlief meistens ĂŒber WhatsApp. Auf Fragen gab es immer eine schnelle ausfĂŒhrliche Antwort und noch weitere Tipps. Wir haben uns auf dem Colline d’Argento sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und werden uns noch lange an den schönen Urlaub erinnern.

Magnifique endroit au-dessus de Moneglia au milieu des oliviers et avec vue sur la mer

Nous avons beaucoup aimĂ© cette propriĂ©tĂ© ainsi que la localitĂ© de Moneglia, charmant village mĂ©diterranĂ©en, havre de paix dans la cohue de ce mois d’aoĂ»t. Bien centrĂ©, prĂšs des 5 Terre et de Portofino! Le train s’arrĂȘte Ă  Moneglia, super alternative pour visiter les alentours trĂšs touristiques et oĂč trouver un parking est une galĂšre. La propriĂ©tĂ© Colline d’Argento est un lieu enchanteur avec une trĂšs belle terrasse fleurie et entretenue avec soin par les propriĂ©taires. L’appartement est beau,dĂ©corĂ© avec goĂ»t, lumineux, spacieux. La literie trĂšs confortable nous a permis de dormir comme Ă  la maison. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu situĂ© au calme Ă  5 minutes en voiture de Moneglia. PossibilitĂ© de descendre Ă  pied au village par des raccourcis Ă  certains endroits pour Ă©viter la route. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir!
