Corbridge itself is a picturesque village which sits on the banks of the River Tyne and is renowned for its charming shops, quaint tea rooms and several restaurants and pubs. Corbridge is only a few miles from Hadrian’s Wall where walkers and cyclists can explore the many historic paths and roads that were once walked by the Romans.
The countryside around Corbridge is a great area for touring. Enjoy a day out at Beamish, the world famous open air Museum telling the story of life in the north east of England during the 1820s, 1900s and 1940s. It truly is an amazing experience.
