There is an additional snug with armchairs, Smart TV and PlayStation4. Downstairs is the family bathroom with large bath and overhead multi-jet shower. A large enclosed garden sits at the water’s edge, a beautiful and tranquil spot. With patio area and garden furniture with BBQ space and a fabulous hot tub to relax and re-charge.

The reservoir is set in beautiful Northumberland countryside and is the perfect place for a quiet day of coarse fishing. Lovers of the outdoors will enjoy the extensive nearby walks, including sections of the Hadrian’s Wall, perhaps relax for a bite to eat at the picnic area next to the bird hide. The area is also a nature reserve and perfect for bird watchers, with an array of wildlife amidst beautiful scenery for keen walkers and cyclists. Hadrian’s Wall is easily reached, and affords some of the most spectacular scenery in all of England. Discover the famous Vindolanda Roman fort, The Sill Landscape Discovery Centre and the world famous Sycamore Gap. Lovely house.

Lovely house. Beautifully decorated. It worked well for us as a family (3 couples). Kitchen was well stocked with equipment so we were able to cook and enjoy eating together in the lovely dining room. Hot tub was a great addition.

Amazing house.

Amazing house. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday.Stunning accommodation best I have ever stopped in. Great secure garden for your dog. Lovely hot tub and views. Perfect for a peaceful stay. About 12 miles from Newcastle. About 4 mile drive to the nearest shop and about 1 1/2 miles to a pub. Few pubs in the village of Wylam for food and drink. Also in Wylam a Chinese takeaway and a local co-op. Would highly recommend if you want a peaceful holiday.
