Daughter loved the animals

Our daughter fell in love with the dogs and also enjoyed seeing the goats and chickens. Bed was comfy and kitchen well stocked. Did get woken by the cockerel quite early!

We are always happy that the guests have a good stay. The 2 dogs and the other animals are a real experience for lot of guests and their children. The cockerel.... yes he wakes up early in the morning, but we and the guests love to see the hens and chicks, and they provide us the new generation of chickens. The cockerel stay only in month of April with his chickens, in that month he provides them from the necessary seeds, and can go again to the large pasture of the goats from May until end of March. I am very sorry that he wakes you early. Your family is always welcome here!

The mini-huise was perfect for our stay in Belgium!

The house was exactly as described. It is cleverly designed with a modern “IKEA” look and feel, an efficient use of space and very functional. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. All of the appliances, especially the washer and dryer worked well. It was perfect for us as we visited our family in Belgium.

The Perfect Stay

I had a few days to tour Belgiam during a trip to Germany and am so happy I found The Mini. The small space had everything my traveling companion and I needed. The animals on the farm entertained us each morning, especial the brother and sister Burmese Mountain dogs. The proximity to Ghent, Bruges and the coast made travel so convenient. We were even able to book an additional night when an uncharacteristic snow storm kept us from traveling back to Cologne safely. All of our questions and needs were answered! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stopping over on the way to Germany...

We stayed at Kitty's mini house for one night only, but we had a lovely stay and Kitty could not have been a better host. The property was very clean, the sofa bed prepared ready to sleep in as we arrived quite late and the organisation pre and post arrival was easy and very friendly. Kitty was always on hand to help and assist. Our children loved the 2 Berner Sennen dogs Schweppes and Stella, both lovely animals who our children enjoyed playing with and stroking.

Stopping over on the way back to England...

Having already stayed at Kitty's mini house at the beginning of our 2 week holiday, we were looking forward to another stop over on the way back. We were not disappointed. Again, the property was very clean and ready to occupy when we arrived. As the heat wave was in full force, we particularly enjoyed the aircon this time around! Kitty again was always helpful and around when we needed her help or advice. We will definitely coming back one day.

Alles war sehr sauber, der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr gut und unkompleziert, gute Lage um nach Gent zufahren. Das Schlafsofa und die Schneidemesser benötigen dringend ein Update und wenn man sich eine große Bettdecke nicht teilen möchte evtl. Vorher erwähnen. Wir hatten noch Bettzeug dabei.

Das Haus war super und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Leider war es uns zu laut. Nach den Bildern zu urteilen, liegt das Häuschen alleine auf einer Wiese. Das ist nicht so. Die Straße ist relativ nah und stark befahren. Das Haus der Familie ist direkt gegenüber. Härte ich das vorher gewusst, ich hätte es nicht gebucht.

A home away from home

Obwohl als tiny cottage beschrieben, ist dieses Haus extrem gut durchdacht und mit großen Fensterflächen versehen. Dadurch wirkt es sehr geräumig und luftig. Gardinen rundum sorgen für genügend Privatsphäre am Abend. Es wurde liebevoll, schwellenfrei und gleichzeitig praktisch eingerichtet und die Klimaanlage sorgt für angenehme Temperaturen Sommers und Winters. Parken kann man direkt vor dem Haus. Ein absolutes Wohlfühlobjekt. Die extrem netten und hilfsbereiten Vermieter wohnen gegenüber, so dass man notfalls immer einen Ansprechpartner hat.

Ganz tolle Empfehlung

Wir waren 5 Nächte in der Unterkunft und haben es sehr genossen. Wir sind mit unserer 1,5 jährigen Tochter angereist und mit unserem Hund. Für unsere Tochter war alles vorhanden (Babybett, Rausfallschutz, Hochstuhl, Kindergeschirr und -besteck, Schlafsack, Bettwäsche und Wippe für Babys). Großes Highlight für unsere Tochter waren die vielen Tiere, gerade die beiden Ponys lassen sich sehr gerne streicheln. Für unseren Hund war der Garten ganz wunderbar, für kleine Runden lädt ein Feldweg direkt neben der Unterkunft ein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist wirklich sehr modern, sauber und an alles gedacht in der Unterkunft. Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich und die Dusche war für uns ein echtes Highlight. Ganz besonders ist aber die Hilfsbereitschaft der Familie. Bei jeder Frage war sofort jemand zur Stelle. Unser Auto hatte am letzten Tag einen platten Reifen und mir wurde wirklich ganz toll geholfen. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen. Vielen dank für diese schöne Zeit!

Leuke week bij gastvrije mensen

Alles wat je zoekt in een vakantiehuisje is aanwezig. Vriendelijke en behulpzame beheerders. Genoeg winkels vlakbij in Lokeren en met een kwartiertje treinen sta je in Gent. Ook een mooie omgeving om te fietsen ( wel veel onverhard en slechter wegdek, dus racefiets is minder handig). Wij hebben hier een leuke week gehad!

Adil, Votre avis me fait malle au coeur. Normalement nous améliorons notre séjour grâce au commentaire des invité, mais pas maintenant. Vous avez déja loger chez nous et donne 4 etoile come avis. Votre femme etait tres heureuse et tu fait un 2iemne reservation pour le weekend de Valentin. A 20h le soir avant d'arriver, tu demande par e-mail de VRBO pour changer la date et veut venier au Mai. Je vois votre demande le matin d'arriver est envoi un repondre que nous avons choisir les règles d'annulation le plus flexible . Selon Vous, cela ne vous a été singalé nul parte sur le site VRBO. Alors ca c'est pas bien, et je telephoner a VRBO pour te défendre dans cette situation. L'employe me dit que vous avez vous-mème indiquer lors de la reservation que vous ètes d'acord avec les conditions. Tu trouve que accepter cette demande et service que nous doit te doner comme un maison de vacance déja donner vous au passé que tu changer ausi un weekend a la dernier minute. Je n'ai pas accepter votre demande pour changer gratuit et cela ne vous convient pas. Je compris. Notre séjour n'est pas viable et un mauvais endroit si non vous nauriez pas reserver nouvaux. Vous êtes tres déçu que nous n'ayons pas accepter de reprogrammer gratuit votre week-end a la toute dernière minute. Avex chaque reservation tu peut prendre un assurence d'annulation, tu peut toutes renseignements trouwe sur le site de VRBO Je suis désolé que nous n'ayons pas pu votre demande, mais je souhaite a vous et votre famille beaucoup de joie, d'amour et de succés a lavenier. Great place for a short stay

It was a really nice stay at Kitty’s cottage. It is great if you need some quiet time in the nature, but also if you want to visit around (Ghent is 20km away and Anvers 30km). The place had everything we needed and Kitty was always there to help, while valuing our privacy. The amazing pets and animals on the property made our stay even better. Thank you again!

Loved our stay in the mini house!

Katti and her family were wonderful and accommodating. The mini house has everything you need for a short stay, especially in the kitchen. Everything is very modern (including a heated mirror in the bathroom!). Loved being on a farm with chickens, rabbits, sheep and ponies, not to mention two friendly dogs. Well situated to visit the region.
