Perfect Couples Retreat
We loved staying at the 14er Cabin in Crested Butte! It was our first time to CB and we wanted to stay in town. This cabin was a perfect location and perfect for a couples get away. It's adorable, spacious, and comfortable. You are close to the main street, Elk Ave, but still far enough away to have peace and quiet.

Loved the house and its location on the creek...
Beautiful house, very comfortable with wonderful amenities...we felt right at home. The only caveat we had was that we were traveling with our well behaved dog, and the closest neighbors had dogs that were often loose (no fence) and one was not very friendly. It made coming and going for walks a little stressful, as either my husband or myself would have to go ahead and be on the lookout to make sure the neighbors dogs were not out. It was no one's fault, per se, just thought I would note it in case any others are considering staying here with their pet. Other than that, we had a lovely time and very much enjoyed our stay.

We (Susanne & Walther) fell in love with Crested Butte years ago and are certain that you will, too - if you haven't already. Living outside of Boston we visit CB as often as possible but until we can finally move to CB full time our home is yours to enjoy!

Why they chose this property

"The 14er Cabin" has a unique location in the center of Crested Butte. It is located in the residential southwest corner of town, right on Coal Creek, which provides more privacy and quiet than typically found only a block from all the restaurants, bars and shopping on Elk Avenue, or the many events like Sunday farmers market, the Arts Fair or 4th of July parade. A perfect retreat for a couple looking for a special place!

What makes this property unique

The home is decorated with elegant European alpine flair, including fine antiques and photos of family members skiing over 50, 75 even 90 years ago in the Alps. And it has all modern amenities that make your stay enjoyable, including outdoor spa, fully equipped modern kitchen, HDTV with huge cable selection, fast WiFi, washer & dryer plus free use of townie bikes to explore.
