About this property

Recently renovated Beach Bungalow

Comfortable and charming "old Florida" style beach bungalow with wonderful screened in porch and just a short stroll to the beautiful white sand of Mexico Beach.

My husband and I fell in love with the area and were so excited to find this little gem. We can't wait to share it with you!

Guests have access to the entire property. The house is the perfect size for a couple or or small family. It has two bedrooms. One with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. The bathroom has had a makeover with new ceramic tile. We also installed a tankless hot water heater.... so there is no chance of running out of hot water. Our outdoor shower (hot/cold water) provides a great spot for rinsing off after a fun day at the beach. There is also a fully functional, well equipped kitchen. With so much to do in Mexico Beach and the surrounding areas, I doubt there will be much tv watching, but there is a smart tv in the living room just in case. Just bring your log in info for your favorite Netflix, Hulu, or HBO account. Wifi is available also. The driveway is a good size with plenty of parking for two vehicles and a boat.

The house itself is sooo cute but the space we enjoy the most is our front screened in porch that runs the length of the house. It's the perfect place to relax with a good book or glass of wine, eat your meals, or take a nap.

Not only are we a short walk to the beach... we are also walkable distance to Killer Seafood. We highly recommend walking there for dinner and then you can walk off all of the delicious food you are going to eat on your way back. Don’t miss catching some of the most beautiful sunsets during your visit.

I really could just go on and on.... but you really have to experience this quaint coastal beach town for yourself. Message me for more info on visiting this lovely little place.

Convenient and a restful beach town!

Very short walk to the beach! Loved the outdoor shower and decor is updated. If doing dinner nearby-go early, it gets busy!

We absolutely LOVED this little beach cottage!

We knew it would be small and that was ok with us! It was the perfect size for us and our two year old. He loved the screened porch and outdoor shower. It had everything we needed. We cooked every meal at the house and could not have enjoyed our stay any more! We will be back!!

Great house, great porch, great beach, cool town

Thank you for letting us "borrow" your cool little bungalow. It was so incredible our 4 year old said as we waved goodbye, "i wish you owned that little house, it's great!" She was partial to hanging out on the porch snap vhatting her sisters. My favorite place this trip by far The beds are amazing, the AC works great and it has everything plus you need. PS- we replaced your boogie board as the other one was totally used up and we "killed it" LOL!

This little bungalow was perfect for our needs!

As a retired couple taking a mini vacation, we couldn't have found anything better than this beautifully renovated little bungalow built in the 1950s. Everything was new, clean, and perfectly suited our needs. The neighborhood was quiet and the area was well maintained. The property manager was easily accessible and responded to our one inquiry immediately. We hope that future renters will take very good care of this property, so that it will be the same for our next visit!

Cute little house perfect for four. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the big screened in porch. The location was great as well, walking distance to restaurants and beach! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Exactly what we wanted

Clean neat small but not too small quite walking distance to the beach outside show was awesome to get the saltwater and sand off before going into the house which made it easier to keep it clean. Had a wonderful time. Will go back again

Why they chose this property

My husband is a songwriter. He was booked to play at a yearly songwriters festival called "Blast on the Bay" . We instantly fell in love with the area and started looking for a place to call our own. A year later we purchased Rum Dum and are hoping to spend lots of time on the coast. When we are not here, we would love to share our relaxing spot with you.

Looking for a place to escape the winter weather?
We would love to rent to snowbirds December thru February. Ask me about our monthly rates for these months.
