The structure immersed in a small residence with 2 other small housing units is surrounded by 1200 square meters of greenery with lawn and ornamental plants and has a private entrance and a spacious veranda overlooking the garden. This offers a wide panorama and the opportunity to dine by candlelight, thus enjoying a unique and breathtaking show immersed in a "magical" atmosphere and giving maximum respect for privacy and tranquility. Located along the south-eastern coast of Sicily, Villa Musa is embraced by the Ionian Sea from which it is only about 300 meters away; a privileged position from which it is possible to experience the sea 24 hours a day, perceiving its changes, sounds, colors, wonderful scents. The clear waters and the lush seabed of the bay of Fontane Bianche are ideal for relaxing swims and diving. The House
Located on the ground floor, very bright and very airy, the house enjoys a fabulous view of the garden. Curated and furnished, it is equipped with all the necessary equipment to guarantee you a comfortable stay. The studio consists of: a double bedrooms; an equipped kitchen with hob connected to the external veranda also furnished with a table with 4 chairs, electric oven, extractor hood, fridge-freezer, washing machine, TV 32 etc .; bathroom with electric water heater, shower, hairdryer, large, small towels and bath towels for 2 people. The room has windows with mosquito nets. Availability of sheets, bedspreads and pillows included.
The cool veranda is equipped with garden furniture: deck chairs, table for 4, charcoal barbecue with grill. Ideal place for outdoor lunches and dinners, in absolute privacy, to relax with friends or reading a book. The veranda is also surrounded by a large garden and is equipped with an outdoor shower thus allowing you to live part of the living room peacefully outdoors.
The Studio is also equipped with: iron and ironing board, 1 clothesline. Included, basic supply of dishes and glasses, dishes, table cloths, napkins, water, sugar, coffee, salt and detergents.
In addition to the internal shower, there is also an extra external and handy shower for when you leave the sea directly without entering the house.
1 bicycle is at guests' disposal for long and wonderful walks along the promenade of this corner of paradise called Avola.
The owner lives nearby. She is very friendly and will be happy to advise you on excursions, restaurants, sailing trips, snorkeling and fishing.
At about 50 meters. from the house there is a railway station that connects Syracuse with Avola, Modica, Noto and Ragusa. Also nearby are the bus stops



The coast
The coast is dotted with many small and precious pearls, each of which is unique in its landscape and beauty; in fact we find: in addition to the wonderful and long beach of Fontane Bianche which starts a few meters from home, the splendid pristine beaches of Del Gelsomineto, Lido di Avola, Lido di Noto, Eloro, Cala Mosche, Marianelli and San Lorenzo which marks the beginning of one of the most beautiful stretches of the Sicilian coast. Here the coast is characterized by golden sandy beaches, turquoise sea and white limestone rocks. It is also a real oasis of rest and tranquility for a wide range of birds and is bordered by the "Vendicari" nature reserve. Here you will find a great variety of Mediterranean flora and fauna, exotic beaches and Byzantine ruins. And still proceeding southward the island of Capo Passero, the island of the Currents, the extreme tip of Sicily. Other natural and unspoiled beauties are the natural reserves of Cavagrande del Cassibile and the characteristic marine villages of Marzamemi and Portopalo.
The Outback
Since from the Ionian to the hinterland the step is short, it would be a real shame not to take the opportunity to discover places full of charm and culture that have made this land one of the flagships of UNESCO. We remember in particular the wonderful baroque towns of the Val di Noto, such as Noto, Palazzolo Acreide, Syracuse, Modica, Ragusa, Scicli. Then in the evening you can relax in front of an exquisite Mediterranean dinner, in one of the many restaurants in the area, or enjoy the romantic sunset while sipping a good wine from our land.
In particular Modica, the county capital that was made great by its Counts, with its baroque, its alleys and its churches, including the Cathedral of San Giorgio and the Mother Church of San Pietro, has become a destination for historical itineraries and food and wine. In this regard, we should mention Modica chocolate, to be tasted natural or with its various flavors, 'i' mpanatigghi 'the broad beans from Modica,' u cosacavaddu '(the famous Caciocavallo ragusano DOP), in addition to the typical cuisine preparations that have their roots in peasant culture.
Then visiting Noto means discovering an extraordinary chapter in human history. Following the terrible earthquake of 1963, his people were able to rebuild their city in a few decades with completely new urban planning criteria and with an incredible imagination. The tale of the Sicilian Baroque therefore expresses the sense of returning to life, the joy of living and the rejection of the horror of catastrophe.
