Bwthyn Dyfi is a charming stone-front cottage, resting within the peaceful village of Cemmaes in Wales. There are two bedrooms in the property comprising of a double and a twin sleeping four guests in total, served by the family bathroom. The cottage is also home to a kitchen/diner, utility/cloakroom and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside are patio areas with furniture and a river as well as roadside parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Bwthyn Dyfi is a wonderful retreat for a getaway with family or as a couple to the countryside of Wales.

One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub within 0.1 miles. Note: There is a river at the bottom of the property, children and pets must be supervised at all times. Please note: access to path at front is shared with neighbouring holiday property.

Town: Cemmaes is an idyllic village resting in Mid Wales, sitting peacefully amongst the valley of River Dyfi. The village is home to both a local pub and a coffee shop with a general store attached, offering everything you could need for a self-catered stay. Nearby Machynlleth is well-worth a visit for its wider selection of amenities, as well as its street markets every Wednesday, art galleries and Museum of Modern Arts, or visit the coast of Dolgellau for a wide range of leisure activities.

Wonderful, excellent, fantastic.

We had such a lovely week here. The check in process and online tools were easy to use. The property is lovely and well thought out. The decor is lovely, the garden areas are beautiful and relaxing. Quiet roads and the river at the end of the garden is an absolute bonus, we went swimming most days and it felt like a proper retreat away from normal life. Would 100% visit again. Highly recommend.

A wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay. A lovely village (great little cafe) and beautiful cottage. Every cooking amenity is there, making it great for a long stay when you want to cook several meals. Instructions on how to change the heating are near the door, which can make a difference. It is easy to do. The beds are very comfortable and the upstairs bathroom is luxurious, with underfloor heating. Machynlleth, with all its amenities, is only a short drive away. Thank you!
