The House:<br>A charming two-room apartment with a kitchen and bathroom, featuring a private entrance, located on the ground floor of a late 19th-century Tuscan-style stone farmhouse. The apartment has direct access to an adjoining fenced-in courtyard, partially covered by a pergola attached to the wall, where there is a table and chairs for outdoor dining and a barbecue for grilling. The courtyard also features lounge chairs and a hammock for relaxing and enjoying the magnificent view of the valley. <br>The bathroom is spacious, equipped with a bathtub and toilet, personal hygiene products, and towels. <br>The spacious kitchen is equipped with all the appliances and essentials (cutlery, new dishes, pots and pans, and kitchen linens) needed to prepare and enjoy meals: a small gas stove, electric hotplate, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and a spacious refrigerator. <br>The larger bedroom features a full-size double bed and a single bed; the second, smaller room is set up as a sitting area with a TV, where the sofa bed easily converts into a queen-size bed that can accommodate two people. Both bedrooms are equipped with linens.<br><br>Amenities:<br>In the nearest town, Petricci—just 3 minutes away—there is a small supermarket and a café. <br>The slightly larger town, Semproniano, is 6 km away and has a pharmacy, bank, post office, cafés, and small supermarkets.<br>Arcidosso is 25 minutes away and features a large Conad supermarket where you can go for larger shopping trips.<br>The nearest hospital is located 30 minutes away in the town of Castel del Piano.<br><br>Points of interest:<br>The apartment is located 15–20 minutes from the medieval village of Saturnia and the thermal spa situated at the foot of the village, surrounded by a centuries-old park typical of the Maremma region. The Terme di Saturnia Spa & Golf Resort is a top-tier facility capable of satisfying even the most discerning guests. Immerse yourself in the four outdoor thermal pools. The experience is rounded out by cold- and hot-water circulation paths, a relaxation area, a wellness centre, and the Spa Café. These are open to the public and therefore free of charge; they are always open, even at night, and are located about 3 km before reaching the village of Saturnia. <br>The house is located 30 minutes from Monte Amiata, home to the “Indiana Park Amiata” adventure park, and nearby is the Amiata National Park and Mining Museum (Abbadia San Salvatore).<br>For those who want to take a dip in the pool, the Capenti Swimming Pool Park is located 25 minutes away near Arcidosso, in the Capenti area. <br>For horseback riding enthusiasts, the Ambasciador Equestrian Centre is located in Arcidosso, just 20 minutes from the house. <br>In nearby Semproniano, there is a public tennis court and a regulation-size football field where you can play these sports. <br>Finally, for fans of Etruscan art and archaeology, the town of Sovana and its surroundings—25 km away—offer the following attractions: the Cathedral, the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, the “Vie Cave,” the Archaeological Park, the Tuff City, and the San Mamiliano Museum; 30 km away is the town of Sorano, where you can visit the historic centre and the Etruscan Park; 33 km away is Pitigliano and its surroundings, where you can visit: the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, the Church of Santa Maria and San Rocco, the Etruscan Quarries, the Civic Archaeological Museum of Etruscan Civilisation, the Old Ghetto, and the Synagogue.<br>For everyone, however, the house is an oasis of peace where you can recharge away from the hustle and bustle of the city by taking evening walks, encountering porcupines and fireflies, and admiring the starry sky. I chose the name “CASALE DEL SILENZIO” precisely because of the peace and silence this location offers. There are no nightclubs nearby, so this place is definitely suited to a specific age
