Overlooking the Aegean Sea, Villa Idylle provides a serene retreat for recharging in Crete. The Grecian holiday home is perched on a hillside on the village of Maroulas situated on the heights above Rethymno offering panoramic views. The minimalist aesthetic of the villa allows the focus to remain on the expansive views. The 310 m2 villa is spread throughout three floors, all with elevator access and accommodates 10 people.
Fully private, but conveniently close to everything, Villa Idylle offers all that you were looking for, for your summer holiday. The five bedroom villa is adorned with designer furniture such as Vondom, Adriani e Rossi, Inomo and lighting by Kundalini and aspires to offer a private, unique experience you will not forget and will definitely want to pursue again.

Layout

Ground Floor

Guests are ushered into the main living space with an open plan area featuring the living room, dining room and kitchen. The living room features a corner sofa with a fireplace, 47" HDTV with Netflix and a bluetooth speaker. Its balcony doors provide direct access to the pool terrace, offering amazing coastal views. The kitchen is equipped with branded electrical appliances and provides all essentials for a self catered vacation. The designer dining table can seat up to 10 guests. The ground floor also features a bedroom with a King size bed (1,60 x 2,00), 32 HDTV, closet and a balcony door with direct access to the pool area. Finally there is a bathroom with a shower on this level.

First Floor

The first floor features three bedrooms and a sitting room with floor-to-ceiling windows accessing the balcony with stunning sea views. The master bedroom on the first floor features a super King size bed (2,00 x 2,00) with an ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. It offers a 47" HDTV, closet and a balcony with sea views. The other two bedrooms feature two single beds (0,90 x 2,00) that can be joined to make a King size bed if necessary, a 32" HDTV, a closet and a balcony with sea views. Furthermore the first floor offers a family bathroom with a bath.

Lower level

The lower level is comprised of the kitchenette, gym area and the sauna. Furthermore on the lower level you may find the playroom with a 70" HDTV, Playstation 4 console and a piano. Finally the fifth bedroom of the villa is situated here. The lower level bedroom features two single beds (0,80 x 2,00) that can be joined to make a King size bed if necessary. Additionally it offers a 32" HDTV and a closet. There is also a bathroom with a shower on the lower level. Here you will also find the washing machine and clothes dryer.

What will really take your breath away is the outdoor area of Villa Idylle, which offers amazing, panoramic views of the sea and mountains and also includes:

INFORMATION ABOUT THE AREA

The Villa is located in Maroula village in Rethymno. Maroulas is a quiet village situated on the heights above Rethymno with panoramic views of the Cretan Sea, surrounded by greenery and full of Venetian characteristics. Maroulas reveals itself through a maze of alleys, old doors, door knobs, stone mosaics where visitors can stroll and discover.

The villa is located in the outskirts of Rethymno city only 6km away from the center. Rethymno centre offers a variety of shops (supermarkets, fishmongers, butcher shops, bakeries) as well as highly acclaimed restaurants, numerous cafes, pastry shops, ice cream shops and more. In Rethymno you may also visit the magnificent old town, the Venetian harbour, the museum and the venetian castle "Fortezza" which is the trademark of the city.
