Located in Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Vista/Kings beach this is an ideal location for the skier just 6 miles from Northstar or 2 miles from the sandy beaches of Lake Tahoe. If you are looking for night life the Nevada state line is 5 miles away. The property backs up to Tahoe National Forest where you can access the extensive trail systems and the Rim Trail.

Amazing retreat in North Tahoe

Small but cozy

Nice location, we've had some minor issues with hot water and the internet the first evening, but everything started working fine the next morning. Perfect location for skiing at Northstar and reasonably priced.

My family of three stayed for a long ski weekend at Rosalynn's apartment. It was cozy, well-heated, and a convenient 15 minute drive to Northstar. The apartment was exactly as advertised and we were able to prepare meals during our stay. The owners were very kind and friendly and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed.

This is just what I needed!

Cute, cozy, home away from home! I spent a month here and felt right at home from the beginning. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the views were beautiful. The owners are welcoming and friendly. I hope I get a chance to stay again.

Great little hideaway

The property and the stay weren't the issues there was just a lack of phone service and in all fairness Rosslyn did everything she could to accommodate me including allowing me into the main house to turn off the other devices using wifi to get a better signal. Luckily I was there for my sister's wedding so most of the time was away with family anyway. We are coming back in abt 3 mons and I would absolutely wanna stay there again.

Property was just as advertised. Great location and quiet. The only issue was the poor internet connection. When I messaged Rosalynn to let her know, she responded right away and ultimately credited us some money to cover the cost of renting movies from Safeway. Overall, a good experience!

The location is great for enjoying the north side of the lake. Also great quick access to Truckee. The family that owns this property is extremely kind and responsive. Couldn't have asked for more. What you see on the listing is what you get and it's even better because of the owners. 5 for 5 would recommend.

The studio was nice & quiet, & easy to access. It had all the amenities we needed. WiFi signal was weak to nonexistent, but that didn’t bother me too much as most of our time was outside anyways.

This was a bright, clean, and nicely decorated garage apartment. There was plenty of space for 2 people. They provided all of the cooking utensils, plates and cups for dining. No AC but I never needed it because the weather was beautiful for the entire month. They could provide a larger chest of drawers for people to store their clothes but it wasn't a big problem for me. The owners and their family were all very friendly and accommodating. The location was good also( it was about 5 minutes drive from King's Beach, 10 minutes to Truckee and about 30 to 40 minutes from Reno. This rental was a great bargain and I would stay there again. Thank you Rosalyn, Walt and Terri for use of your vacation home. Jim

It has always been a dream to have a property located in Lake Tahoe for our family. We were fortunate enough to purchase this beautifully remodeled house in Tahoe with such great access for snow skiing and all the trails within walking distance for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, biking and hiking. Our family is from Northern California.

Why they chose this property

The interior of the house is brand new and can't beat the location. Close to snow skiing, hiking, Tahoe National Forest, The Rim Trail, Lake Tahoe and the Casino's.

What makes this property unique

No visible neighbors on either side and backs to a season creek and forest views.
