About this property

The bungalow is 60m² in size. It's very comfortable and private accommodation in an idyllic location in the middle of the olive grove... perfect for nature enthusiasts! We added a 5.5m x 1.1 m deep free-standing pool in the private garden. Each bedroom enjoys air-conditioning.
The distance to the sea is only 800 metres. You have a parking space on a private driveway next to the property but there is also a parking area for a few metres away for another vehicle. It has a large garden and a very nice terrace furnished with a dining table and 6 chairs, barbecue, sun beds and umbrellas. The accomodation features 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with two single beds, a living room with sofa bed, open-plan mini kitchen and dining area, TV, Wlan, Hi-fi, fridgefreezer, microwave/grill, electric stove, coffee maker, toaster, bathroom with shower and WC. We love this side of the peninsula because it's more natural and not overcrowded by too many tourists. Nea Skioni is south facing and has a amazing view of the sunsets with Mount Olympus in the background!!

We decided to build a property in this fantastic area as you will find every thing that you can imagine for a perfect holiday-great beaches, wonderful traditional tavernas, restaurants, bars and shops. The area is very safe and the locals are friendly. Its a wonderful place to relax and wind down. The area is also a holiday destination for the Greeks so you will find the prices in the restaurants and bars very reasonable, honestly the best that we have seen in Greece (40 Euros for a evening dinner for two persons including drinks). I am sure that you will enjoy it very much and want to return to the area, just like we did. It's set in a beautiful olive grove, which is very relaxing and peaceful. A Sheppard often passes with his flock and always greets our guests in Greek! After a few days I'm sure you will understand why we chose to built here as its the perfect place to rest, unwind and forget the stresses of daily life, soaking up the surroundings and enjoy a taste of the Greek way of life. This side of Kassandra is considered a soft tourist area meaning you will not be disturbed by loud music or traffic.

Nur zu empfehlen!

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche am perfekten Ort. Nicht weit ab von der Hauptstraße SOWAS von ruhig! Gut erreichbar, gut betreut von den Gastgebern. Check-in easy. Gut angelegtes gepflegtes Ferienhaus! Wenn es uns wieder nach Chalkidiki verschlägt...wir würden wieder kommen! Christina

Absolutely wonderful

We have had such a wonderful week. We loved the property and the pool. It was very comfortable for our family if 4. The owners were great at communicating with us, very friendly and helpful and even brought us fresh apricots off of their neighbours tree. The area is great, we loved swimming and snorkelling in the sea. Thank you Greece you never disappoint!

Entspannung pur

Optimal für einen entspannten Erholungsurlaub zu zweit oder auch mit kleineren Kindern. Strände in der Nähe. Bei Bedarf ist die „lebhaftere“ Ostküste in 15min. erreichbar. Tolle Betreuung durch Mike, den Verwalter. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Erholsame, schöne Zeit

Wir waren mit unserem 9-jährigen Sohn 1Woche im August im Chalet. Der Swimmingpool hat zur großen Freude beigetragen. Die Betreuung durch den Verwalter war erstklassig, danke nochmal. Bei der Sauberkeit haben wir einen Punkt abgezogen, weil das Geschirr sehr schmutzig war, wofür jedoch Vormieter verantwortlich sind. Allerdings hätten wir uns gewünscht, dass eine Überprüfung vor Weitervermietung erfolgt wäre. Wir können aber das Chalet absolut weiterempfehlen.

We are Edith and Michael Brookshaw, my wife is German and I am English. I come from Bournemouth the south coast of England. Since we live in Germany I have always missed the sea. We decided 2009 to build a house in Greece, discovered this lovely area by chance and decided to build here. The house has been designed by ourselves. Most important was a nice swimming pool and a lovely outside area. We have fallen in love with the countryside as well as the people around Nea Skioni and looking forward to the days when we can retire and spend a lot of time here. The Olive grove is very quiet and peaceful and we hope you love this place like we do.

The area is also a holiday result for the Greeks, you will find the prices in the restaurants and bars very reasonable the best that we have seen in Greece (40 Euros for a evening dinner for two persons including drinks). I am sure that you will fall in love with the area just like we have. I am sure that you will enjoy it very much. Its set in a beautiful Olive grove, its very quiet and peaceful, the Shepard comes down out of the hills with his sheep regularly always greets the guests in Greek, after a few days you will then understand why we built here as its the perfect place to wind down relax, forget the daily stress and just enjoy the whole of this areas of Greece and live like the Greeks do. The area is not over run with Tourists, we call this a soft tourist area meaning you will not be disturbed by loud music or loud traffic and traffic jams or loud lively tourist.

What makes this property unique

The Chalet is in the middle of a wonderful olive grove, some of the trees are hundreds of years old, the shepherd comes down from the hills with his sheep which graze on the grass around our home. if you are looking for a wonderful tranquil place then this is it. If you want a bit of night life then its 3 Km away in the next fishing village with many bars and Taverners. At night the sky is so clear you can almost touch the stars, the beach is only a 5 minute walk away and the summer evenings are a joined with the sound of nature just listen you will never forget it. In the evening the gentle breeze starts and you will find that you don't need the air con on just an open window with the fan on low, all windows and doors have mosquitoes nets so you can leave the windows open all night. you will not find many places like this with its Beautiful settings not far form the beach just an short walk of around 700 Meters. The other owners of the Villes next to ours are Germany and they are not their much of the time but are very friendly
