We so appreciate your kind review. We feel it’s appropriate to provide free firewood for guests so that you can have a wonderful experience of having a cozy fire in either the living room fireplace or the one under the front porch. We are glad you had a good time at our cabin and hope you’ll come again.
The house is amazing! It has so much to offer. The scenery, the peaceful surroundings. It was like a home away from home and our little king charles felt right at home. The benches out by the outside fireplace reminded me of the ones my parents had. We really had a nice time.
Communication and flexibility were top-notch. The cabin was beautiful plenty of beds no TV so you were able to completely unplug.. very private the dogs enjoyed being able to run. Location was about 30 to 45 minutes from so many hiking trails and overlooks. Beautiful mountain views plenty of firewood to keep the fireplace burning inside and outside our entire stay! thank you again for a wonderful experience!
We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin. The setting was incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the cabin itself was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind away from the noise of everyday life.We truly enjoyed every moment and would absolutely stay here again.
The cabin and location were absolutely amazing. The Hosts answered all my questions promptly and were amazing.

Thank you for your awesome review! Please come visit again. Try a visit in summer! There is great hiking in the area fishing lakes, and it is really nice to barbecue on that big deck.
Very private cabin, with an amazing view. Looking forward to doing another trip there.

Aw thanks for booking our cabin AND taking the time to write a review. We are happy you had a great visit. We hope you might come back again in the future. We have a lot of guests who come once or twice per year. :)
The cabin was immaculate and well stocked with kitchen items, bed and bath linens and loads of family oriented games and activities. While it was just my husband and myself, it would be a wonderful place to bring children and grandchildren. The views from the porch are stunning.
This beautiful cabin is quiet and secluded with sweeping views of the hills. The kitchen is well equipped, if you’re into cooking together. Everything is clean and comfortable.

This cabin is in a great location! Very quiet and remote. If you plan to stay here in the winter months, plan on giving the fireplace at least 24 hours to heat up the cabin. Host does supply the firewood, which is great, there is plenty of firewood available! We stay in February and the lows were in the 20's.There is a small wall heater above the door, but with the high ceilings, it does take some time to heat the cabin. You may want to bring your own pillows as well. The pillows provided are very old...they have new pillowcases but old pillows. The cookware is your typical hunting cabin cookware, old, but usable. Same goes for the utensils. You do want to bring your own drinking water as the host suggests.Overall, if you are looking very a quiet place to stay, with average bedding and kitchen, this is your place to stay.

Thanks for your feedback. You’re inaccurate about the pillows being old. They are not old. Also the part you forgot to mention is the cabin is immaculately clean. There’s nothing wrong with any of the skillets pots or pans and what do you expect when it’s 20° outside? If you run the mini split on high and keep the fire stoked, it is very cozy. We were there in January when it was bitterly cold and did not have any problem staying warm. Maybe you should try booking a room at a Holiday Inn.
Our 6th yr. Always a great weekend regardless of the weather. Weather was great this wedkend. Leaves are just beginning to turn so the view is awesome.
It was the perfect place for my husband, kids, dog and I. The porch has a wrap around fence so my dog could walk around freely. There’s no tv or WiFi which made being off the grid so nice and relaxing. Will definitely be back to stay again.

Dear Elizabeth,
We are so glad that you had a wonderful visit to our cabin. And we are also happy that you appreciated not having the TV. It forces you to connect to family and have a great fun and adventures that are not distracted by media. Thank you for being such a considerate guest. We will welcome you back anytime. We do have guests that have come back multiple times.
Our dog and boy love visiting our cabin as much as we do. We love getting back to our Amish roots and making jam and canning vegetables. This cabin is a quiet place with room to have a large family gathering on the deck. We love spending time with family here, playing games, baking cookies, walking the property with our dog.
Why they chose this property
My husband grew up across the mountain in the small town of Belleville, PA. We wanted a place to call our own when we visit family in the area and found an excellent Amish craftsman to build a cabin for us that will be around long after we are gone.
What makes this property unique
The huge deck with great views of the mountain really set our place apart from others in the area. The inside and outside custom stone fireplaces are a unique feature as well. Not far from the highway, but feels very isolated and peaceful.
