Sight seeing in Siracusa

Small, cozy apartment; Very clean and well maintained; very good base for sight seeing in Siracusa (5 minutes to Ortigia) but also for other excursions e.g. Taormina, Noto and also for swimming, because beautiful beaches quickly reachable by car; Very noise sensitive people should note that it is a city apartment and e.g. on weekends at night can also be louder. We have always found good parking in the street by the apartment. Good shopping facilities e.g. supermarket in the parallel street. Very nice hostess, good communication and uncomplicated handover; Nice welcome with water, a little bread etc. for a first snack;

We stayed here Sept 2021. We were very impressed with the host. She had the apartment cleaned early so we could go ahead and check-in. She walked through the whole apartment to show us the place. The pics are true. The place is fabulous. She had us snacks, water, coffee pods, washing machine soap. The Ac worked very well. We never heard our neighbors. The road noise wasn’t bad at all. The bed upstairs was comfy. We really appreciated the fan. The downside was only the stairs and suitcases, we would stay here again! Close to Ortigia. We walked down there every day. The train station is close to the apartment. We walked everywhere. We always felt safe.

Veramente molto bello e consigliabile

L’appartamento è molto bello, tenuto benissimo, molto pulito e curato nei dettagli, abbiamo passato solo due notti di passaggio a Siracusa, ma la casetta al 41 potrebbe essere una casa anche per una vacanza prolungata, non manca niente, spazi usati in modo molto intelligente, il soppalco, il comodo divano letto che ritorna a divano in un batter d’occhio, cucina attrezzata, lavatrice, insomma noi ci siamo trovati benissimo. La vicinanza a Ortigia è perfetta, perché ci si può andare a piedi, lasciando la macchina parcheggiata praticamente davanti a casa (mentre a Ortigia la situazione per il parcheggio è già più difficile). In più l’appartamento è decorato veramente con gusto, e questo lo rende ancor più accogliente. Per finire abbiamo trovato una host molto disponibile, gentile e professionista! Grazie! bcd
