On the third floor of a building in the city center, Casa Samuela is an apartment where ancient and modern coexist in complete harmony. You can feel it from the colors and furniture used for the decor. The entrance staircase leads to a very bright, spacious, and welcoming living room furnished with a sofa and two very comfortable armchairs placed in front of a beautiful stone fireplace. The small terrace is a rarity in downtown Cortona so it makes it perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or an outdoor breakfast. The kitchen, small but functional and equipped with all the necessary appliances, completes the living area of this two-level apartment. The internal wooden staircase leads to the sleeping area, where there is a double bedroom, a single bedroom with a French bed, and a bathroom with a shower.

The apartment is bright, spacious and clean. The location is right smack center of town. Restaurants all around, bars, shopping, good vibes.

Beautiful place in perfect location

This apartment was perfect for my sister and me. The location couldn’t be more ideal. The team that welcomed us was warm and helpful and the welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch. I would definitely keep this place in mind for future travel to Cortona (one of the most special places I’ve ever been). Thank you for a lovely stay!

We selected this property based on location first, then because it had the room we needed as our adult daughter stayed with us. Property was as listed/expected and worked out great for our 10 night stay. There is a single bathroom, which is as listed. For a larger family that may or may not work for your situation. Working with Together in Tuscany was easy - great communication.

Up and down

The city and property were very nice. It was a rocky start. The first attendant could not open the door to the property, she had to go back to the office and get someone else to do it. Also, the toilet did not flush the first day, it was fixed the next day. Also, we were not aware we had to climb 50 steps (with large suitcases)to get to our unit. Other than those instances. It was a good stay.

Overall disappointed...

The disappointment starts with the pictures - they have been altered to add WAY more light than the property actually gets. The "balcony with views of Cortona" is a small space sandwiched tightly by 4 walls that is uncomfortable. And while we're fit folks, the steepness of the entry steps and two more stairways in the apt get old fast - for a day or two fine, but we were to stay a week+ and we left with a week to go. In fairness, it's in good shape and the management is hightly engaged but it was a costly mistake for us.

Regarding the balcony, our Vrbo description accurately portrays its size, noting its rarity for Cortona, a town that dates back to the Etruscan period. If you can point out any discrepancies with what you read, I'd appreciate your note, and I'll rectify them. Additionally, I regret any inconvenience caused by your experience, particularly in light of your wife's knee surgery. In an effort to accommodate your needs, I extended an upgrade to our beautiful Casa Maya, which you chose not to accept. Parfait séjour à Cortona

Appartement très bien adapté pour notre trio. Beau et très confortable. En plein centre donc à proximité de lieux vivants et restaurants animés. Important : l'appartement est accessible par un escalier très raide... mais la jolie ville aussi !! :) Nous avons adoré notre séjour en Toscane et dans cet appartement
