Had a great stay. Mike communicated clearly and easily, giving very specific directions to the apartment, down to which underground exit to take. Everything was very clean and organized. Would recommend to others, and stay again.
The 'Superior double room with view over north London' truly lives up to its name. It's an incredible place near the center of London with amazing views, and the convenience of the Piccadilly line close by can't be beaten. What made the stay exceptional was the host, Mike, who was incredibly kind. Highly recommend!
Had a most pleasant stay with Mike. The flat was lovely, the bedroom spacious, and the host was solicitous. Directions to the flat were precise and the bathroom facilities spot on. Would gladly stay there again.
Mike’s place was perfect for our week in London! There is a tube station just a short walk down the street so it was incredibly easy getting to all the places we wanted to go. Mike was a wonderful host and would highly recommend his place!
Convenient location, close to tube stop although several stops to central London. Easy to navigate. Very flexible in that we were able to arrive a bit early. Lovely views and a balcony off the kitchen. Very good experience overall and would recommend.
Mike made us feel totally at home. His place is handy to the Tube and bus and there are great eating options a walk away. It’s not a big apartment and you’re sharing with Mike and partner who are very considerate.
Mike was a wonderful host! I was surprised to see a second person living there permanently but besides that, everything was as listed. Mike is super kind and helpful, definitely recommend staying here.
We had a lovely time staying in Mike's flat! He made us feel very welcome, explained everything about the rooms and where to find everything we needed. I had wonderful breakfasts on the balcony in the sunshine. The room was perfect for the 5 nights we were staying and while we needed to adjust to sharing a bathroom, it worked out perfectly well. The room, kitchen and the bathrooms could have been cleaner, but it wasn't an issue. Because of the two Underground Stops nearby, you can bei in the touristy midst of London in minutes and we really enjoyed that. There are also shops around If you need anything. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!
We did have a pretty good trip to London.
It was appreciated to have a nice place to live in for a week. Mike is very helpful, and generous.
Thank you again ;)
Loved the experience at Mike's. The place has everything you need, it's close to a tube's station (25min from the city centre)and it's not expensive.
Overall a great stay here, I'd recommend Mike 100%
Michael was a gem, helping me get acquainted with the place and with London. He was very communicative when needed, responding to messages timely. I was able to settle in and get the most out of my busy schedule while there. Thanks Michael! Highly recommended.
My husband and I are from the USA and found this to be the perfect place for travelers who plan to spend most of their time out and about, but want a comfy, safe, and welcoming place to crash at night. We had plenty of space in our room, access to shower and toilet, use of kitchen and laundry. Great WiFi access made it easy to call home. Bonus: plug adapter in room and hairdryer (don't try to bring your own, as the adapter doesn't work for hairdryer). Mike was so pleasant and easy to communicate with. The price can't be beat. A real gem for travelers!
Mike is very kind and thoughtful, he tries to think of everything you need. The reasonable price is the big factor here, as well, we found the location not to be a problem. A bus stop is almost at the property. The accomadations were immaculately clean and quite. A plus is the elevator. We had a flat in Paris with three flights...very tough with large bags. If you can afford three hundred or more a night, then get a hotel room, but you will not meet and stay with an authentic Londonderry person.
The location is nice with a nature walk by a reservoir nearby and also a wetland walk with a restaurant a half an hour or so away. This is a communal living experience and one has to be comfortable with not leaving personal belongings in the bathroom. If the kitchen, bathroom, toilet or the dining area/living room are in use one needs to be considerate. The bedroom is as is listed, but it is also where meals are eaten if the living room is in use as an office; there is no kitchen table. However, there are chairs and a table on the shared balcony that is nice to use if the weather permits.Mike is a welcoming and very helpful host.
Absolutely Perfect Stay in London – Highly Recommend!
I recently stayed at this lovely flat in London, and I cannot recommend it enough! The room I stayed in was absolutely wonderful – spacious, clean, and filled with natural light. Everything was impeccably organised, making my stay so comfortable and stress-free.Mike, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. He went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and his warm hospitality truly made me feel at home. The location is simply fantastic! The house is in a splendid area, with excellent transport links that made getting around London a breeze. It’s also close to the city centre, so you’re never far from the action. What’s more, the neighbourhood itself is so friendly and welcoming – it felt like a little community within the bustling city.If you’re looking for a clean, bright, and well-organised place to stay in London, with a host who genuinely cares about your comfort, this is the place for you. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to London!
Alles was man braucht.
