The rooms were all clean and well prepared. The kitchen is more than big enough for the number of guests the house can take. The location is fantastic for the shops, transport, pubs and eateries. It is also a good starting point for the many walks around Stretton.Parking is easy and being in a private cul-de-sac, it was so peaceful. Lovely to be listening to bird-song in the morning rather than traffic.
Cottage is ideally situated for the town and walks in the Shropshire hills. It’s warm and comfortable with everything you need for a perfect stay provided.
Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Spacious and homely with great access to mountain trails. Host was easy to contact despite some niggles with app (not host fault) and would stay again.
A charming cottage in the center of Church Stretton. Our family of four was very comfortable with all of the additional space, and the fireplace made the chilly evenings very cozy. David was a great host who provided immediate assistance with any questions we had. Highly recommend!
Perfect stay in a charming cottage. Perfect location, 2 minutes walk into the town or 15 mins over to Carding Mill Valley. Deceptively spacious cottage, and very peaceful. Perfectly equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely book a return visit!

The house was spacious, warm, clean and the kitchen was well equipped. It's very peaceful and there a number of great walks which can be reached from the doorstep. The town is a only couple of minutes away. A good base from which to explore the area without a car.
The property is in perfect location and very family-friendly. David was very helpful and responsive. Checking in and out was easy. We will definitely be back again.
Very well positioned, comfortable Cottage, much larger than expected and priced most reasonably. Would thoroughly recommend and commend David for his swift and helpful communications. A great holiday based in a wonderful small town. Norman.
We had a wonderful time at Church Stretton and East Cottage. The location is perfect as it is tucked away in quiet area but only 2 minutes walk to the town centre. The property is well equipped with kids essentials like highchair and travel cot which makes it much easier with two kids. The living room is spacious. David was very helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back again.
I had a lovely short stay in this property in Nov ‘23 with family. Both the cottage and local surroundings are very pretty. The cottage is well equipped and large - would make the perfect base for people on a walking holiday.
