Description
Located in the popular seaside town of Aldeburgh ‘Mansard House' is a large, beautifully converted property which is conveniently situated on the High Street – just a stone's throw away from the beach and an excellent range of shops, restaurants and pubs. It's also the perfect location for discovering the beautiful coastline of Suffolk – on foot, bicycle or by car.
The entrance to this property is on Chopping Hill, just off the High Street and the accommodation is arranged over three floors. This attractive pet friendly property can accommodate parties of up to nine guests.
Once inside you will find the ground floor offers a well-equipped kitchen, a generous dining area with views out onto the High Street and two living rooms with one offering direct access onto the decking and garden. The first floor and second floor feature five bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Whether you decide to simply relax locally and enjoy the many attractions available on your doorstep, or explore the area fully, Mansard House provides a fantastic retreat and great place to base whatever time of the year you visit.

Ground Floor
Large Entrance Lobby: Room for plenty of coats and boots and a back door leading into the back garden. Wide steps from the entrance lobby lead up to the kitchen with the dining room beyond. These rooms are above an Adnams shop affording views along the High Street in both directions.
Kitchen: Dishwasher, Falcon range cooker with five gas hobs and three ovens, side by side stainless steel fridge/freezer and a large wine fridge
Utility: Washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave
Dining Area: Large rectory table with long benches either side providing seating for twelve people, wood burning stove, I-pod dock, radio/CD player, three large windows with views out to the High Street
Living Room: Wood burning stove, two three seater sofas, flat screen TV, DVD player. Steps lead to glazed doors which provide direct access onto the raised decking, with steps down to the rear garden
Bathroom 1: Large shower, WC and hand basin (bathroom located off the utility room)
Snug: Three seater sofa, flat screen TV, DVD player, sash windows with views over the High Street
Cloakroom: WC and hand basin
First Floor
Bedroom 1: Large double bed, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, double aspect windows facing South and East
Jack and Jill Bathroom: This bathroom is next to bedroom one and has two lockable doors to allow it to be used as either a family bathroom or an en-suite to bedroom one. Walk in shower, hand basin, WC

We had a brilliant family get together and loved Aldeburgh. The house is right on the high street but is very peaceful. We loved the large kitchen area. Light and warm despite the cold of February. great
