Unique tranquil loch front setting in the Arrochar Alps located only 45 minutes from Glasgow City Centre, or 55 minutes from the Ski Centre in Glencoe.
A private semi detached bungalow, consisting of 2 bedrooms lounge with panoramic views only 10 ft from the waters edge at high tide.
Large dining conservatory and kitchen.

flatscreen tv's, You simply will not find a better waterside location. Sorry we do not accept pets ! Fish, kayak and paddleboard all day long at no extra charge

Large communal garden, games room with pool table, airhockey, darts and playstation etc. children must have adult supervision.

Outdoor bar seating area with gas fire pit is communal and may be booked in advance for special occassions, area has fire pits and gas patio heaters for winter use.
We also have kayaks, paddleboards and small boats available for fishing or messing around on the water !

Please advise your hosts in advance should you be bringing an electrical vehicles to site, especially if you require or intend to charge it from the properties power supply.
Any consumption of electricity for vehicle charging has not been factored into your rental rate and as such will be recharged to you at a specified rate at the end of your stay using the most recent kw hour rates applicable or alternatively reclaimed from your rental deposit.

    We’ve had a wonderful 4 day break. The bungalow is right in the loch with amazing views. Douglas was a fantastic host - he came to meet us when we arrived, took us around the property and showed us the games room, kayaks, life vests etc. The remote control stopped working for the TV - Douglas came really quickly to fix it and ended up giving us his TV!! Couldn’t do enough for us - really great host!!

    Spotlessly clean and well equipped lodge.Stunning location set on the banks of Loch long.Fantastic host who has equipped the lodge with everything to support an active BBC water experience.Kayaks , boats , fishing rods and paddle boards all available at no extra cost.Hot tub available with stunning views of the mountains.Wouod highly recommended to families looking for a different holiday.Would be even better with deco update.But this did not hamper our stay.Thank you.

    Wonderfull location

    This place is great!Very nice accommodation with direct access (5 yards?) to the loch. Astounding view, lots of included stuff: hottub, canoe and paddle, pool, outdoor bar with fire pit...We enjoyed the tranquility and the beauty of that place!

    We have just returned after spending a wonderful and peaceful week in scotland. I can not thank and praise Doug and his family for the amazing accomodation and welcome we recieved.The views are stunning and it is so peaceful especially from the hottub.The accomodation was very clean and we were provided with everything we needed and more. Doug was always available throughout our stay if we needed anything and with lots of advice about places to visit.The facilities available were amazing and although we didnt use the kayaks etc it is amazing they are all included in the price.I truely can not recommend this accomodation more it is excellent and well worth a visit. One of the best holidays we have had.Thank you Doug for being amazing and going above and beyond.

    Amazing loch and mountain views right out of front windows. As close a property to a loch as you'll find. Great facilities. Douglas is a friendly and welcoming host.

    Lovely place!

    We had a very nice and relaxing week. Landscape is very beautiful. Great that there are boats to use (just be aware that there can be drift). Our daugther loved the cats. :-)

    We really enjoyed our stay here. The weather wasn't particularly kind so we never managed to take advantage of the kayaks and get out on the Loch. However, it didn't spoil our stay as we got out and enjoyed the local area.The views from the cottage are stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after some days out walking. Douglas (the host) is excellent and makes sure you have everything you need for your stay.

    A cozy and quiet getaway

    The property is exactly as advertised, it's very (pleasingly) quiet and with a lovely view. The weather did not cooperate for any use of the boating equipment, but I'm sure in the summer months this would be perfect.

    We had an unforgettable stay at Ardmay Luxury Cabins. The bungalow was literally 4 metres from the shore with stunning views of Loch Long and the hills beyond.Douglas is a fantastic host, so warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were fantastic too - canoes, kayaks and SUP’s were free to borrow which meant we were out on the loch every day in hot August sun. The kids absolutely loved it and well as my wife and I. I thoroughly recommend this place for a family holiday.One final note - the hot tub was also a welcome treat, great to relax in after a busy day with a beer watching the sun go down.

    The most spectacular location

    My friend and I had a truly fantastic week at the Bungalow. Dougie was the perfect host - available if we needed anything (such as wildlife rescue), but most of the time left us to get on with enjoying the facilities. The views from the accommodation are just spectacular. We were fortunate to have a pod of porpoises swimming around us while we were paddle boarding on the loch - that was probably the highlight of the trip. We will be back.

    Great location as you cant get any closer to the water. The use of paddleboards, kayaks, Canoes, boats is just brilliant. My kids loved being in and out of the water and the freedom to then jump into the hot tub to chill after was bliss. Access to games room and laundry was v handy too. We took our own wetsuits but there was an abundance of them to choose from in drying area. We even caught a couple of crabs which was a major highlight on the last night! Watching the sun go down with a glass of rose was just lovely.

    home from home

    As soon as I stepped into the property I knew I was going to have a great time, Douglas greeted us and gave us the tour. The house was lovely, clean, tidy and very welcoming, it was right by the loch and the views were breath-taking. My husband sat and watched all the fish jumping in the water. The young couple next door made good use of the kayaks and boards. There are a few places you can eat if you choose, well situated for sight seeing there are lots of lovely places to visit. It really is a beautiful p[ace to stay I would highly recommend you give it a try but please look after it as I cant wait to return.

    Host gave very accurate directions to property, was warmly greeted on arrival, accommodation is excellent, quiet, clean and everything needed is available. Location has amazing views with the added bonus of spotting various wildlife thrown in. Host is very friendly and affable and was available throughout if needed. To sum up our weeks stay husband says “perfect”! Well recommended, would love to return.

    Wonderful place !

    La maison tout au bord du loch est très agréable et offre une superbe vue. Il n'y a qu'à glisser à l'eau les kayaks mis gracieusement à disposition pour aller à la recherche des dauphins familiers du lieu. Salle de jeux pour les enfants, très confortable bar extérieur pour les plus grands. Merci à Douglas pour son accueil et ce très bon séjour !

    Wonderful family/group accommodation

    This is a stunning location and a really wonderful find. Unfortunately the weather was not favourable for our week but the on site games room and spa as well as stock of board games meant we did not get bored. Doug has catered really well for groups. The covered outside gas fire shelter is a fab location for an evening catching up. Loch side fire pit was excellent and lots of parking. Ample storage. Lovely set up for dining in the conservatory which is beautiful all weathers. Kitchen had all that we needed and the extra store with kitchen roll/extra toiletries/cleaning materials just meant we needed to worry about food. Altogether a fabulous set up for large family or extended families like ours. It was the hilight of our trip back from Australia. MF the property manager was excellent and really helpful on site. I would recommend this and hope to stay again when we are next back in Scotland.

    Highland Scenery - Gorgeous!

    The bungalow was comfortable and very well located, with walks, amenities and interesting historical sites very close by. Our host Douglas was very welcoming and generous. Lovely place.
