Gorgeous 5 BDRM w/Sweeping Ocean Views + Pool - Dog Friendly

Skip the traffic to Duck and enjoy our private oasis in the trees on the ocean side of Hwy 12 in Southern Shores. Only 10 minutes from the Wright Memorial Bridge and two lots back from the beach, Willems Beach Club @ Southern Shores is an ideal vacation destination for those looking to relax in a private "treehouse" like setting. Enjoy ocean views, two levels of wrap around decks overlooking the pool, and plenty of space for the entire family to relax. Try surfing, kayaking or paddleboarding - lots of beach toys are included. Our home sits at the end of a cul-de-sac and is surrounded by tree canopy to create privacy from nearby homes while still allowing panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean from the deck. The private beach path is right beside our house, making it an easy 3 minute walk to the beach. All 5 bedrooms are spacious and have sliding glass doors opening out to two levels of wrap-around decks. We allow one well behaved dog over one year old to join you on vacation with our prior approval and pet fee (no exceptions!).

You will love our coastal decor and fully stocked kitchen with lots of counter space! Our home offers 3 King bedrooms with on suite baths; 1 Queen bedroom and a Pyramid Bunk (full over twin) bedroom that share a jack-and-jill bath, a game room, an outdoor shower, a charcoal grill, a laundry room, flatscreen tvs and free secured wifi. Our guests can also enjoy the Southern Shores Civic Association amenities including tennis/pickleball courts, a marina, playground, and Soundfront park and beach.

Conveniently located 5 minutes from both Kitty Hawk and Duck, you can easily get to all of the OBX towns to enjoy the restaurants, shops, and local attractions such as Wright Memorial, Jockey's Ridge, NC Aquarium, The Lost Colony, H2OBX waterpark, movie theater, outlet shops, etc. There is a paved bike path through Southern Shores and Duck so you can walk or ride bikes from the end of our street into Duck for shopping, dinner or to visit the original Duck Donuts!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house and pool area were clean, kitchen well stocked, lots of movies and games. Quick walk to the beach with Littles and lots of gear in tow. The owners were easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. Good location, clean beach.. highly recommend.

We went for a last minute beach vacation and this house was great! It’s tucked away in brush and trees which makes it feel very secluded, but you can still hear the ocean from the porch. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach, but they have a cute little walk path that makes it easy. The house has everything you would want - pool, beach toys and tools, 2 balcony’s, plenty of bedrooms and a great kitchen. We had a blast and will come back!

We had a wonderful week! Beach days and Pool days were so relaxing. A short drive to restaurants, shops and golf completed the trip. The house was very clean and plenty of room for the 9 of us. Since every bedroom had its own bathroom and sliding doors to the balcony everyone was happy. We’d love to stay here again

Quiet Spring Break

This is the best rental we’ve had in Outer Banks since we started visiting a few years ago. Very close to beach, house was clean and there was a well stocked kitchen. The deck on each level was a dream and we enjoyed dining on the deck a few nights. It is in a great location, close to stores and restaurants. But still feels secluded enough that you have privacy. We loved the pool. It was well maintained and had great pool furniture and ample shade. All the beds were comfy and the house stayed a cool temp the whole time we were there. Would love to book this house again!

We enjoyed staying here very much! Our family stayed here for our family vacation, we had my immediate family of 3 and 1 family of 4 and then our parents(grandparents) there was more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. The pool was great and the hot tub was really nice too! It wasn't a far walk to the beach either which was very nice

Restful OBX vacation

Comfortable home with great amenities made our first stay in OBX a pleasant one. Enjoyed the proximity to the beach (private path to Ocean Blvd. between 2 different public access points), and being so near to Duck and Kitty Hawk made for easy ventures out to eat or explore. Watching sunrises and sunsets from the deck was really special.

Great OBX house!

This is a great property for a family vacation. The house is located on a quiet, secluded street just a few minutes easy walk to the beach. We had bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, and the pool is a welcome respite from the beach at times. We highly recommend it.

Our stay was wonderful! The house was just as advertised and much more. Plenty of room for all of us and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. We both grew up vacationing in OBX with our families and always loved the area. After vacationing there together several times, we got engaged on the beach in Rodanthe in front of our family and friends. A year later, we purchased our first Willems Beach Club condo. A few years later we wanted a larger home that could accommodate our extended family, so we purchased Willems Beach Club @ Southern Shores. After watching many years of HGTV shows for inspiration, we finished our renovations and hope our guests enjoy our modern "coastal cool" themed home!

What makes this property unique

We loved the privacy of our home and the great ocean views. We're at the end of a cul-de-sac and the lot next door is owned by the Civic Association and will remain undeveloped. Just 3 lots to the beach, its an easy walk down the private beach path that is shared by just five homes.
