The flight of stairs to the apartment was a little perilous for my elderly parents, but we survived without incident. The host was mostly communicative and helpful except for a brief and unfortunately timed lapse around our arrival at the property. Overall, the apartment layout was perfect for us. There was a few wear-and-tear issues in the apartment but nothing that caused us any problems. We had a very comfortable stay and would absolutely stay again. The neighborhood was ideal for convenience and exploring the sites of Strasbourg.

Spacious and clean

Property is very nice with two good sized bedrooms, open concept living room and host is very kind. The only issue we had was the heat and poor airflow. I don’t think it is fair to blame the property owner for a continental heat wave, however. Unfortunately, the near 38 degree celsius temps made it very difficult to sleep. A portable AC unit or ceiling fan would’ve been very helpful. The two floor fans weren’t quite enough. With normal, or winter temps, we would definitely stay again!

apartment very good location

The apartment is big and clean, has good beds and is very well located. Walking distance of Straatsburg city centre and all the things you want to see. Straatsburg is a beautiful city with lots of good restaurants/cafes, shops, museums and you can make great walks in the countryside. The owner reponds very quickly to questions. Two minor details, which were not published on the site i booked (fewodirekt): - on the pictures it looks as if the apartment is situated on the street and has streetview. this is not the case. the apartment is situated in a courtyard on the first floor - on fewo direkt is stated that you can park on the premises, but that is not the case. parking is a 5 minute walk in a garage for € 21 per 24 hours. These are not big issues, but we would have liked to know this before booking. Besides that, we had a great stay and recommend the apartment and Straatsburg

Straatsburg - Rue du Fabourg de St. Pierre

Prima locatie, rustig, aan een binnenplaats, vlak bij het centrum en met een kleine supermarkt in de buurt. Het appartement was basaal ingericht en voorzien van spullen. WEl ruim voldoende linnengoed. Advies: zet een staande lamp in het woongedeelte, nu zijn er alleen fel brandende spots. Of voorzie de spots van een dimmer. De ontvangst was via de telefoon en we hadden moeite om de juiste route te vinden. De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep verder goed. Op de website stond dat er parkeermogelijkheid was, maar dat bleek nauwelijks het geval. Alleen kortdurend in de buurt. Voor langer parkeren moet je naar een heel dure garage op minimaal 10 minuten afstand.
