You are close to skiing , golfing ,walking, hiking, tennis courts, public swimming pool. Great mtn. biking trails in the summer. Awesome golf course, and close to the skiing and snowmobile trails in the winter. Also nearby: (5 min) Sugarloaf Sugarbowl (bowling,arcade,food), Anti-Gravity Center, Ziplines, Hut Systems, fishing, boating on Flagstaff, etc. Small Cozy camp available for the summer and winter in the heart of Carabassett ME. Relax and do some hiking and biking from this home . Tired of the crazy busy months, head on up to the Sugarloaf area and explore all that we have to offer. Features 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms and sleeps 4. Linens and towels are NOT supplied unless prearranged. Internet service and cable TV, We provide a small grill, too! This truly is a beautiful, well maintained home!

Excellent location for skiers. Cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed to relax after a day of skiing! Inside set with cubbies for equipment as well.

We wanted total rest and relaxation. We explored the area and found several places to eat or get groceries.The cabin was very comfy and quiet with everything we could ever need. It was tastefully decorated, we love Sugar loaf and have had many fun memories from there.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was cozy and warm. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Quick easy drive to Sugarloaf and a relaxing place to come back to after a long day!

Very Close to Sugarloaf

The accommodations were neat and clean. The decor was perfect, especially the classic Sugarloaf items. Super easy to get to, and super close to the mountain. The fireplace was awesome, and was used quite often. The place was roomy and comfortable, which was a huge plus after each of the ski days.

Cabin is ideally situated close to Sugarloaf. Very comfy/cozy. Kitchen had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The gas fireplace was a nice feature. Will definitely be staying here again!

Charming modern cabin nestled on side road off main route, easy to get to, very close to Sugarloaf Mountain. Multiple amenities, spacious and spotless. Would recommend for a couple or family. Will definitely go back!

We had a very pleasant stay at Dale’s house. His home is cozy, clean and it has everything to feel comfortable. The location is very close to ski resort and it’s close to beautiful cross country area.

Very homey big cabin

My daughter (20 yrs old) and I visited in late April to do a little hiking and fishing. Check in was seamless. The cabin is decorated very tastefully (many ski-themed), the beds are comfortable, and the it's clean. It's not spotless (yes, we found a couple of deceased ants), but it's a cabin on a small dirt road with other cabins, so exactly as expected. Another reviewer mentioned it is somewhat close to the road, but it's not too close to be bothersome (I was never awoken by the sound and rarely noticed it). It's also in a perfect location, very near to sugarloaf, a great little supermarket, lots of hiking trails, Flagstaff lake, and the Carrabassett river. It has a nice shower and kitchen (with a good stove and microwave), which opens up into the living room. Great high ceilings. SO much wood everywhere in the structure (it's a cabin, as I said). The water from the tap tastes great, with even my very discriminating daughter drinking her fill. It feels like a home away from home, even though we stayed for only a few days. We'll be back!

Home away from home

My family of 3 had the best stay at Dale's cabin. We felt like it was a true vacation "home" and was minutes from all the activities we wanted to access. Someone else in a review mentioned wanting to keep this a secret gem, and I have to agree! It's really just the best place for a small group/family to enjoy everything Carrabassett has to offer right out the front door.
