Blissful Week.
We had a lovely week on Heir Island. We were well prepared for the week with regard to shopping etc. and having to bring all we needed with us. The communication in advance was very clear. Ferry service was excellent and Tadgh met us at the pier to help carry bags. House was really nice and we have no complaints whatsoever. Nothing that I can think of at present.

Island Escape
The remoteness was such a tonic, no cars, no shops, just nature, every inch of the island has something growing out of it.

West Cork Island Escapes 2021
We will be back to Heir Island and Tadhg the owner of Timmy's Cottage is great! We loved the peace and tranquility on the island and those surrounding it. Islanders are extremely friendly and very helpful. Great ferry service and good opportunity to island hop around Roaringwater Bay. Sailing school owner very easy going and good knowledge of local area. Can't think of anything, it all went very smoothly, Thanks!

adhg was very easy to deal with and in terms of communication and responsivness he was excellent
Tadhg was very easy to deal with and in terms of communication and responsivness he was excellent. The house was very clean and comfortable, there were games and books for rainy days, the kitchen was well-equipped. it was a lovely location and we really enjoyed our stay. in genral it was a great hose and very comfy, but we found that there was not anything comfortabel to sit on in the garden to enjoy the sun and the view (we ended up bringing some wooden chairs outside from the sitting room, which worked fine, but probably not the best for the chairs to the moving them in and out of the house so much as they were quite heavy) Some deckchairs or sun loungers and an umbrella for these and the picnic tables in the garden would make the house perfect. oh, and there is no scissors in the kitchen, so that would be useful to have. (ps - the airbnb listing specifies that there is no hairdryer and there is one, it also says there are only 3 bedrooms but there are 4 bedrooms, so might be good tothose points)
