Great location

This Villa is in an absolutely perfect spot in Cala D’Or. You have direct access to the beach via a gate, the town is literally 3 minutes walk away and the gorgeous Marina is about 5 minutes away. The Villa is set over quite a few levels so lots of stairs but the view is spectacular. The pool is a nice size and well looked after. The rooms were spacious, good a//c and comfortable beds. The bathrooms and kitchen are a bit tired and dated for sure but they work perfectly well. On street parking for those with hire cars can be a bit challenging. Absolutely perfect location for visiting Cala D’Or.

Excellent location and great villa for family holodays

This property couldn't be in a better location - with a fabulous pool and the beach on our doorstep. You could go out the bottom gate jump on the sea and swim or walk to the beach in minutes. You can of course walk down the road and again it's under 5minutes. This villa is under 10 minutes walk to the wonderful marina, and 5 minutes into the centre of Cala d'Or. The town has a lot of food options and is very lovely at night. The villa is spacious with excellent air conditioning. It does need some modernisation in areas such as the bathrooms and the furniture is traditionally Spanish. All on all a fantastic holiday had by all😁

Disappointed.

Spent half the week trying to get a foul water flooding issue resolved rendering one of the bedrooms and its bathroom unusable. Info sent by property manager quoted an out of date wifi password. Overall, cleaning was poor and the bathrooms were very dated.

Wonderful location

The best thing about this house is it’s location, so close to the sea and only a short walk into town. It is very traditional and needs upgrading in some areas, but the pool was great, and so good to have air con in the bedrooms. The bathrooms and kitchen although fairly old worked well, and it was very handy to have 2 big fridges. There was a slight ‘meanness’ to the stay, a lot of instructions, dos and dont’s .Very cheap uncomfortable sun loungers and no swimming towels, and I was rather surprised that there wasn’t anything at all provided at the house. I arrived desperate to wash my hands after travelling, but there wasn’t a single drop of washing up liquid or bar of soap anywhere. Nor was there even a spare bin bag, or a dishcloth or any loo roll etc etc. I had to dig around in my suitcase for shower gel so we could wash our hands. The dishwasher needed rinse aid and salt. I didn’t go on holiday to have to think about things like that, and basic cleaning product shopping shouldn’t have been at the top of the to do list on arrival. I did go for the option of some extra cleaning hours which was great, particularly with children and very dusty rain showers a couple of times, otherwise so much time is spent cleaning up everyday. There are only shutters on the windows and no curtains or blinds. Apart from meaning bright early sunlight it also means that when the shutters are closed at night and the lights are on that people can actually see in!! (This was also the case with the house next door btw, same owner, same shutters!) The access to the sea was somewhat precarious over the sharp rocks, every other villa has made steps across the rocks. These are easily fixed issues but let the place down. This house could be really nice with not too much effort. I was there with 2 small children which didn’t suit the house really, too many stairs and floors meant we had stuff on 5 levels so it was all pretty chaotic, but I’m sure it would suit a bigger party of adults better.

Lovely stay few probs back bedroom bathroom damp walls falling plaster took 3 days for someone to come and look . Pool area sunbeds dirty tried to clean ourselves need to be replaced previous peoples broken umbrellas bats etc just left at pool

All in all, a perfect place to holiday, with very good location. We were all very happy, with the exception of poor cleaning, especially of the outdoor area. The swimming pool was cleaned the second last day, and it was so unclean that we could not see the bottom, and would not even use it.

All the needs for a good stay: well equiped kitchen, Weber grill, nice and clean bedrooms, lots of space for our group of 9 persons. Beautiful location and comfortable villa

Villa Acuarela is wonderful, and its location is beyond perfect. Pool and access to the clear waters of the Cala make it a perfect spot in Cala d'Or. The village is a few minutes walk. Everything is convenient, and the villa is very comfortable, and spacious for two families. We highly recommend it.

Ideal location and excellent quality villa

Worked really well for 2 couples age 50s and a younger couple with a one year old who was just learning to walk (sorry about the little hand prints on the lower portion of all the doors to the terrace!). The layout is such that the younger couple with baby had a choice of the 3 bedrooms on the lowest level, which was safe for the baby, the lounge/dining/kitchen area was on the floor above and the older adults had the peace and privacy of the floor above that. Excellent location for the town, the beach and the marina, yet in a quiet residential area. Very spacious and well-equipped property. We particularly liked the marina for eating out. Enjoyed Majorcan cooking at Proas twice. Can also recommend pre-dinner cocktails at Fowlers just off the road to the marina.

Excellent Villa in an excellent location

Just returned from great week in Majorca staying in the beautiful Villa Acuarela. The Villa was even better than expected, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, very clean and tidy and furnished very nicely. The photographs of this villa do not do it justice the view of the beach and the sea are amazing. If I had to find any negatives at all about this property it would be that the pool was very cold and there are a lot of steps so not ideal for the less mobile. We would 100% recommend this villa and will definitely be returning.

The perfect location for a group holiday.

Villa very well stocked, with everything in good order, very quiet area, yet only five minutes from restaurants, shops etc.no car required.Direct access from the villa into the sea and meters from a small sandy beach. Our family holiday was to celebrate our Golden Wedding, we all had a memorable time, especially our three infant grandchildren! Service from the managers was very professional. We had a special meal at the Aquarius restaurant by the Marina. Have already recommended Villa Acuarela to many friends, we hope to return to "the perfect location".

Beautiful location

It was perfectly situated with garden access to the sea and beach. The view from the house and garden were spectacular. The photos of the outside of the property did not in fact do it justice, it was much nicer. We were a little disappointed that one of the downstairs bedrooms was quite damp, but the rest of the villa was totally lovely. The property is in a quiet road but only minutes from the shops and restaurants and the beach was on the doorstep

Absolutely Fantastic !

Picturesque yet facilities for everyone, the perfect family holiday. Sandy beaches (Cala's) clear blue warm sea and fabulous food, either relax by the pool or swim the fifty metres to the sandy beach ( you can of course walk there but then its probably100 metres). We will return sooner than later in fact wish we were there now!
