The host accepted my payment, confirmed the stay, and then the day of our family of 8 arriving at the location was non-responsive. She left us stranded in Mexico, with nowhere to stay, and the other hotels in the area were booked because it was a busy week. When I tried to call her number the phone number was disconnected. She failed to provide a place for us to stay, which ruined 2 days of our vacation and ended up costing us thousands of dollars.
