Just 4.3 kms away, the low key seaside resort of Kalyves has lovely shallow shelving sandy beaches and a good choice of tavernas by the waters edge. Beyond Kalyves is the next seaside village of Almyrida which again has shallow waters and sandy beaches plus numerous tavernas and cafes.Chania Venetian Harbour is easily reached, approx 20kms away.
