We're just waiting for you! Waves, Sand and Fun in the Sun 🌞

Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club offers the best of both worlds with access to the Gulf of Mexico's sugar-white sands on one side and the serene Little Lagoon on the other. Enjoy both options for relaxation and fun, as the complex offers a range of amenities, including a pool, hot tub, tennis courts, shuffleboard, and grilling areas. You'll also find a boat launch, boat slips, and parking for your boat trailer.

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condominium sleeps up to four and is located on the 6th floor, offering a direct Gulf view from the kitchen, living room, and balcony, and a Lagoon and pool view from the bedroom. The unit also has a new large flat-screen TV. The living area features a queen-size sofa sleeper, and the fully equipped kitchen includes all major appliances. The dining area has a table that seats four, and there's also seating at the kitchen bar. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, and there's a stacked washer and dryer in the hall closet.

Policies :
Parking passes are handled on-site by the association, with charges applying.
Boats and/or boat trailers require a separate parking pass for $20.
Linens are provided; please bring your own beach towels.
​​​​​​​Wi-Fi is available in the lobby and pool area only.
The reservation includes a "starter set" of hand soap, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, one trash bag per trash can, and one roll of paper towels.

Additional Policies:
Guests must be at least 25 years of age or older to rent.
Photo ID is required at check-in.
Smoking is not allowed.
Pets are not permitted.

Use the new “B” elevator on the west side or the new “C” elevator on the east side of the complex, depending on the location of your rented unit. Parking passes can still be purchased in the lobby.

Should have stayed longer

The property was right across from the beach and very close to all the main attractions. Only downfall was one of the elevators was down, making it time consuming coming in or out. But overall loved it. Wish we had booked the whole week.

The room had a terrible mold and/or mildew smell. I spent over 100 on cleaning supplies and it did not fix the situation. When we contact the manager, we were told that all of the rooms smelled like that. This was a waste of my money and ruined my entire vacation. We left a day early because of the smell. We were sneezing nonstop. I have used VRBO numerous times with no issues. But now you’ve let me down.

Loved it!

I loved this property for the price and value. It was just myself and my husband and I loved the location, amenities, and view. The view is above the parking lot, but still able to see the beautiful beach from the balcony. We spent most of our time enjoying the beach which is just a short walk across the street, eating at restaurants, and rented bikes for the bike trail nearby. We didn’t use the pool/hot tub much because there were a lot of families/kids, but this place would be perfect for a family. Thank you!

We were pleased with the location and condo. However, we spent the entire stay without a blanket. This problem was never resolved even after speaking with housekeeping. There were a few issues with lighting and we didn't know how to work the Tv. Location and price were very good though.

Condo does need some updates to the decor. Couch has seen better days. AC was great!! Bed was comfortable. Countertops and kitchen nice. Bathroom has a nice showe in it. Sliding glass door us extremely hard to open and close to the balcony. Balcony had a fantastic view. Saw dolphins everyday!!! Would definitely stay here again. Nice community pool and courts. Boat doc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice access to the beach across the street.

This condo needs help

The condo was not clean, the dishes were stored with food stuck on them, the patio screen was not up, the balcony door was difficult to open and close, the WiFi didn’t work, tv in bedroom had 2 working channels….should I go on? The shower was the best part of this unit.

Looks nothing like photos!

First thing that comes to mind about this place is it’s just nasty! Our first night I thought about just driving home because I was not comfortable at all. The carpet was so stained that I would not walk on it with my bare feet. There was mold on the ceiling, the couch was filthy, the walls were filthy. The shower is the only half way good thing about this place. The floors obviously had not been mopped because there was a coffee stain on the tile and we did not drink coffee while we were there. The pictures are VERY misleading!!!!!! If you are looking for a nice family vacation spot this is definitely not it!!!

Need some better cleaning

The location was great, and the pool was really nice. It was fairly accurate to the pictures. The biggest issue was cleanliness. We were told if that was an issue to contact the cleaning company but we had already settled in by the time it became an issue. The floors clearly hadn’t been mopped in a very long time because our feet turned black and the bathroom vent had mold on it. I understand things happen but there are several similar reviews so hopefully they get a better cleaning company because it is a nice spot! The wifi didn’t actually work either.

Unit was in need of some TLC, Carpet in bedroom is extremely dirty, floors need to be mopped, ceilings in the unit looks like they have mold everywhere. Bathroom has been updated. I will be looking for another Condo in Gulf Shores next visit.

Room needs major cleaning

We visited Gulf Shores this past week after the death of my mom. When we arrived in the room, we noticed that the carpet in the bedroom was stained and had trash on it. The comforter on the bed was stained and did not appear to have been cleaned in years. The couch in the living room was stained and smelled like a wet dog. There was also sand on the coffee table. I called the office of Poole (management for the property) after our stay and was told that we had to call while we were still in the condo to receive any refund for the cleaning fees. As I explained to the girl on the phone, I was not thinking clearly because I had buried my mother two days before arriving and the last thing I needed to worry about was a nasty condo. Take my advise and look for another condo.

Too many add-on costs. Web site is misleading. We thought we would be on the beach. For such an expense there should be no fee for parking.

We are disappointed to hear that you feel that you were deceived in some way, as it is not our intention at all. The fees are clearly listed in the breakdown before you book and the extra charge for the parking pass you must purchase on site is listed in the description. All of the fees are standard to the industry in the area and we are often much lower in fees than our competitors. The location is not listed as being on the beach and both the pictures show it across the street and the description mentions the deeded beach access being across the street. Again we are sorry that you felt mislead as it is not our intention to mislead anyone.
