2 Bed Cottage. Sleeps 5. 30 minutes from Mont St Michel

Located in the quiet hamlet of Folleville less than 30 minutes drive to Mont St Michel and beautiful beaches. Supermarket and boulangerie only 2km away.

L'Hirondelle Cottage sleeps 5 and has a private patio area with BBQ. This property has a well equipped kitchen and an open plan living area with French and English [FreeSat] TV, DVD and Wi-Fi facilities.

L'Hirondelle - and our other 2 gites on the same site - is set in grounds of 1 acre with an open-air swimming pool, sun loungers, pool cabin.
PLEASE NOTE: The heated swimming pool is only open between 8th June and 13th September.

Other shared facilities are:
Games room with a full sized pool table, dart board, TV/DVD facilities and a selection of DVDs, Bicycles of various sizes which are suitable for all ages.
There is a boule pitch and parking.
A full size cot, Travel cots, high chairs, stair-gates and bed-guard are available for use.

Great location for Mont Saint Michel

Dotted around a few places and spent a few days beside the pool. Rennes was great and went to Mont Saint Michel a couple of times as it was so local.

We recently spent a week with Alison at her place in Brittany. Herself and her husband couldn't have been nicer and were always so happy to help us out in any way they could. We had a fabulous trip. The kids had a wonderful time. The house was lovely- very clean and well equipped. The pool facilities were excellent and very well maintained. Heerlijk genieten

Vriendelijke eigenaars, net huisje in een rustige omgeving. Voor de kinderen waren het zwembad en de games room met pooltafel en dartsboard helemaal top! Wij vonden het een goede uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar bv St Malo, Mont-St-Michel en Cancale

Wundervoller Urlaub für die gesamte Familie

Wir würden hier herzlich von Alison willkommen geheißen und fühlten uns direkt wohl. Die Lage ist sehr ländlich, aber wunderschön. Viele touristische Ziele sind schnell erreichbar (Mont St. Michel, St Malo,...) Es gibt auch familienfreundliche Freizeitaktivitäten in der Nähe, und der beheizbare Pool ist auch wirklich groß genug und super für Ruhetage zu nutzen. Das Haus ist schön renoviert und eingerichtet, so dass es an nichts fehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ruhe, Ruhe, Ruhe

Schönes Häuschen in absolut ruhiger Lage. Ruhig meint hier wirklich ruhig, also ab vom Schuss. Genau richtig zum abschalten. Der Pool im Garten ist die Kirsche auf der Sahne. Sehr nette Gastgeber, die für alles ein offenes Ohr haben. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten und größeren Orte der Region sind alle innerhalb einer Stunde mit dem Auto erfahrbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im nächsten Ort. Es waren super entspannte Tage in denen wir uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt haben.

A fun-filled week in Brittany

The gite had a fabulously spacious open plan living room/dining room/kitchen with a very private outdoor dining space. We loved the swimming pool and games room and the peace and quiet of the countryside. There are so many places to visit within an hour of the property including an amazing tree top zip wire where our 11 year old spent 3.5 happy hours among the tree tops. The hosts were very relaxed and helpful.

Sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt in wunderbarer Unterkunft / tolle Gastgeber

Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub am Rande der Bretagne verbracht. Die Unterkunft und Lage eignen sich hervorragend zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Der hauseigene Pool war für uns ideal. Die Lage ist etwas abgeschieden, aber so ist es angenehm entspannt und ruhig - und mit dem Auto kann man viele Highlights der Ostbretagne und Westnormandie erleben (Rennes, St. Malo, Dinard, Dinan, Mont St Michel, Bayeux. etc.). Etwas Fahrtzeit muss aber eingeplant werden... Allison und Malcolm waren phantastische Gastgeber. Die Kinder haben die Hunde und Katzen ins Herz geschlossen. Das Haus war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet, alle Absprachen waren sehr unkompliziert und alles lief reibungslos. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen. Dankeschön/Many Thanks!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Pool. Der Check-In hat super geklappt. Das Ferienhaus war sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alison und ihr Malcolm sind sehr gastfreundlich und haben unsere Anfragen immer gleich gut gelöst. Die Lage ist ruhig. Der Standort ist prima um Ausflüge zu unternehmen (z.B. zum Mont St. Michel, St. Malo, Dinard, Rennes...). Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub im Gite von Alison und Malcolm Many Thanks!!!

Sympathique gîte, avec beaucoup de charme, au calme, à proximité de nombreux sites. Accueil chaleureux de la part des propriétaires, anglais . Gîte très bien équipé avec espace extérieur privatif, une cheminée de feu de bois .

A renouveller sans aucun doute !!

Nous sommes partis en famille avec nos enfants. Le lieu est absolument charmant et calme. L'équipement est parfait avec tout le nécessaire qui manque d'habitude dans les locations (produits d'entretien, d'hygiène, torchons, etc). Les propriétaires très avenants. Une cheminée très appréciée en cette période où tout était prêt et attendait notre arrivée ! Nous avons hâte de pouvoir y retourner avec nos amis.

My name is Alison and together with my husband Malcolm, we own and look after three beautiful holiday homes in Brittany, France. In my 'former' life, I was an Assistant Head Teacher and taught Food and Catering in England for over 25 years. Malcolm is an historian who offers Battlefield Tours within Normandy and Brittany. L'Hirondelle was originally the pressoir of a beautiful Breton farm. It has been renovated to provide and attractive and comfortable holiday cottage for up to 5 people.

We are situated in a rural location which provides an atmosphere of tranquility and calm. Although all on the same sites, our gites are situated well apart and there is plenty of space for everyone giving the feeling of privacy.
