About this property

Studio Apartment for 2 - Adults Only. 30 minutes from Mont Saint Michel

Located in the quiet hamlet of Folleville less than 30 minutes drive to Mont St Michel and beautiful beaches. Supermarket and boulangerie only 2km away.

Le Studio has an open plan kitchen and living area with French and English FreeSat TV, DVD and Stereo facilities. The double bed is situated on a mezzanine level. The studio is accessed via a spiral staircase and also has a staircase to access the mezzanine level where the double bed is situated. Therefore, we consider it is only suitable for Adults.

Le Studio has a dedicated area in our courtyard with BBQ and garden furniture.

Le Studio - and our other 2 gites on the same site - is set in grounds of 1 acre with an open-air swimming pool, sun loungers, pool cabin. PLEASE NOTE: The heated swimming pool is only open between 8th June and 13th September.


Other facilites are: Games Room with full-sized pool table, dart board, TV/DVD facilities and a selection of DVD's, There are bicycles of various sizes suitable for all ages. There is also a boule pitch and parking.
A full size cot, Travel cots, high chairs, stair-gates and bed-guard are available for you to use.

Great Break, Beautiful Surroundings

We loved staying in this historically rich part of the country. The accommodation was as expected due to the accurate and detailed descriptions, the pool area was lovely, and there were lots of interesting towns to explore.

A long needed Rest in Frances warm Sun

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome everything in the apartment was lovely and clean ,the swimming pool was a big bonus along with the large garden which had plenty of seating and shade , we would definitely recommend Alison’s cottages to our friends and family

Perfect getaway

We had the most idyllic stay. The location was perfect for getting out and about in the mornings to various markets or sights to see. There were many recommendations and directions which helped us out alot! The apartment was beautifully clean. It had everything we needed. The communication with Alison was fantastic. The pool was incredibly well kept and clean. We definitely recommend and WILL be back! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Calme et plaisant

Nous avons loué cet appartement en fin décembre. Il faisait froid dedans. Cependant grâce à un poêle à pétrole mis à disposition, la température a vite augmenté. Alison, la propriétaire, est très gentille et à l’écoute. L’appartement est très bien équipé.

Très bien accueillis par les propriétaires qui font de gros efforts pour parler Français! :D Studio avec chambre en mezzanine lumineux, confortable avec une jolie décoration. Gros bémol sur le ménage. Dommage que l'entrée de celui-ci se fasse par une grange non restaurée et très vétuste (salle de jeux). Petits points à noter également : sans plan fourni impossible de trouver la maison -> revoir l'indication de l'entrée/ du portail. Nous avons trouvé que la cours manqué d'entretien, de rangement et de charme. De même pour le terrain de boules qui est impraticable faute d’entretien. Faute d'une belle météo, nous n'avons pas pu tester la très belle piscine disponible dans le jardin (pas de photos sur le site, mais belle et bien présentes sur place). Logement que nous recommandons quand même car hôtes très gentils, aimables et acceuillants.

Malgré un hiver particulièrement froid, nous avons été très bien reçus par Alison et son mari, qui se sont montrés aux petits soins et se sont pliés en 4 pour chauffer la demeure. La propriété est superbe et le coin très calme (c'est la vraie campagne !). Nous avons pu visiter le Mont-Saint-Michel, les remparts de Saint-Malo, le fort médiéval de Fougères... In my 'former' life, I was an Assistant Head Teacher and taught Food and Catering in England for over 25 years. Malcolm is an historian who offers Battlefield Tours within Normandy and Brittany. The Studio is a little gem. It is situated above our games room and is so 'tucked away' and private you may feel you are the only people on our site.

We are situated in a rural location which provides an atmosphere of tranquility and calm. Although all on the same sites, our gites are situated well apart and there is plenty of space for everyone giving the feeling of privacy.
