About this property

Unpack your bags, take a deep salty breath, inhale the sea in, and wonder at the magic of Barcelona

Welcome to a FridaysFlats experience!

Unpack your bags, take a deep salty breath, inhale the sea in, and wonder at the magic of Catalan architecture. Much like the well preserved historical part of town you are in, the apartment has been renovated, with careful consideration toward fusing the old and new together in sweet harmony.
Welcome to a FridaysFlats experience!

First of all, welcome to Barcelona. We’re happy to have you and we hope you have an amazing time staying in our flat. That being said, at the risk of being obvious, here are some basic ground rules:

Be mindful
We are not the police, nor do we want you to feel like we are patronizing; but we think it’s our duty to point out some common sense stuff, as we’ve had our experiences with not so well behaved guests in the past.
Respect the neighbours. Put yourself in their shoes, and keep the noise down to a minimum after 10PM. You are on holiday, but they’re probably stressed about their jobs and would appreciate a good night’s sleep. We want you to have fun, but be reasonable and don’t do unto others what you wouldn’t like done to you. Pissing them off is only going to get you into trouble, and surely you don’t need that while you’re on holiday.

No Parties!
We get it, you’re excited about being in Barcelona. But remember, the walls are paper thin and if you’re having a party, so are the neighbours. And maybe they’re not in the mood for that. Don’t start a fight you can’t possibly win, it’s their city and we want to respect that. Any guest that causes a disturbance will be asked to leave the apartment immediately (no refund at all to be granted). Sorry!
Also, watch out for slamming doors or hallways. Try to be quiet when entering the building, it’s not hard to be a good neighbour and we’re sure you can do it.
Also, be fair! It is not allowed to have more guests than you indicate during your reservation.

Keys & check-out
Don’t leave the keys in the mailbox. If you leave earlier than check out time, please leave the keys on the table and pull the door behind you to shut it. Most flats have the type of door that doesn’t require you to lock when you leave. That’s something to watch out for, as it’s very easy to get locked outside (which is also a bummer, take our word for it). Make sure you lock the door with the key every time you leave the flat. That way your belongings stay safer.

Don’t smoke inside
NO smoking allowed in the apartment. We care about your lungs, but if you have to do it, please step outside. We’d like to keep the flat from smelling bad when our next guests arrive.

Don’t waste energy
We kindly ask you to please turn the lights and air conditioning units OFF whenever you leave the apartment. We care about our planet.

Extra stuff
Additional cleaning, bedding etc can be arranged for a longer stay - but you have to request this while booking.

Arrival
Standard Check-in is from 15:00h to 20:00h. However, we can accommodate late arrivals as well.
Please note the extra charges for late arrivals:
Arrivals after 8PM have to pay €25 in cash to the person making the check in with you.
Arrivals after 12AM have to pay €50 in cash to the person making the check in with you.
These charges are due to late working hours of our staff.

Departure
Check-out time is by 11AM. Arrangements can be made to leave luggage in the apartment until the departure from Barcelona if no other reservations are pending.
Note: if there is no booking for that day, talk to us about arranging a later check-out (if possible).

Lost keys
If you lose a key, there will be a charge of €60 to replace the set.

Kind request
On your last day, please wash the dishes and take out the garbage.
Welcome to a FridaysFlats experience!

We are here for you 24/7 - it’s our job to make sure you have a good time. Therefore, in addition to anything accommodation related, we can help you plan just about any experience you can think of, be it sailing trips, guided tours, off-the-beaten-path voyages.
You can also count on us for any type of transport (limo service, bike rental, scooters, jet-skis, yachts, just about anything short of a rocket, you name it we’ll take care of it).
We also offer deals on airport shuttle at convenient prices.
Welcome to a FridaysFlats experience!

If you’re here for the city

This is the city center. Barcelona is a vibrant place, with its contagious exuberance constantly spilling out onto small streets and cute Plaças packed with cafes, bars and local designer shops. Take yourself for a wander down Las Rambla, an approximately 1km road where you can explore palaces, admire street performers and avoid flower sellers. There’s an El Corte Inglés department store, too.
This is also where you can find La Boqueria, a fresh-food market with over 300 stalls that sell produce, meats, cheeses, fish, seafood, nuts, fresh juices and many other incredibly delicious things to munch on. There’s also a local food school where local chefs and sommeliers share their wisdom.

If you’re here for the beach

Stroll past Plaça Reial, and stop for a beer or coffee (or, as the locals would say, “both”) under the shade of old palm trees. Contemplate the gothic architecture of Barcelona cathedral. It’s 800 years old and covered in gargoyles. Walk by the marina and through the Barceloneta streets onto the nearest beaches for the Mediterranean vibe. Elegant colonial buildings surround you. Shadowy arches. High windows. Fading wooden shutters. Travel back in time as you wander the narrow streets. The buildings lean overhead, almost touching.

If you’re here for the nature

Parc Guell, Parc de Ciutadella and many other locations such as Montjuic or Tibidabo are easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi. There are many places where you can enjoy the beauty of nature, wild colored flowers or fragrant bushes. Just to visit all the attractions of Montjuic could easily take you a week. Here you can find not one but two wondrous botanical gardens, one of them a cactus reservation that’s one of the most Instagrammable natural wonders of Barcelona, The Fundacio Miro, The Poble Espanyol, The Theatre Grec, Palau Sant Jordi or explore some of the former Olympic village attractions.

If you’re here for the shopping

Shop ‘til you drop! Or maybe not that much, but still, find local designers and cute boutique stores plus the big Corte Ingles within walking distance. If you’re looking for something more upscale, take the Green Metro Line (L3) directly to Passeig the Gracia / Rambla de Catalunya
Pro tip: You’ll love the boutiques on Carrer d’Avinyó. At Number 7 you’ll find La Manual Alpargatera. It sells espadrille-inspired shoes. It's whispered they cut their colours from a real rainbow. Grey-purple-green? No problem.

If you’re here for museums

Rest assured, both Ciudat Vella and neighbouring Raval are full of museums, monuments and interesting cultural venues like Museo de la Marina, MACBA (for Contemporary Art) or the Catalan Cultural Center, plus some fun and interesting stuff for kids if you need to entertain them (Big Fun Museum and Museum of Illusions or the Wax Museum)

Welcome to a FridaysFlats experience!

Thanks to its close to the city center location, this flat is easily reachable from the airport by train (20 minutes), shuttle bus (A1 or A2 in Plaça Catalunya taxi (if you want to enjoy the views) or metro (from Plaza Catalunya)

Welcome to a FridaysFlats experience!

A fully preserved “volta catalana” (beam ceiling), wooden floors and the exposed brick walls give the cozy living room an air of authenticity, while the stylish sofa, flat-screen TV, FAST WIFI, stylish dining accents and entertainment accessories bring you back to 2021. This simplicity can be very sophisticated.
The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom for privacy and quality down time, while bedrooms 2 and 3 connect and share the second bathroom. One of the bedrooms can easily be converted into an emergency office, for those urgent meetings that could have been an email. Fully stacked kitchen, electric stove, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher - all the commodities of modern life are at your disposal.

Snuggly hidden on a quiet street in the middle of Barri Gotic, among its 4th century erected Roman citadella walls, this dreamy 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom flat can host 8 people.
If your dream is to wake up every day of your vacation in the fast beating atrium of the Mediterranean city that never sleeps, without compromising on amenities or luxury, scroll no more: this dreamy atmospheric property is right by the places where everything happens.

There is an AC unit in the living room and 2 more units in 2 of the 3 bedrooms.
