Comfortable holiday home in the centre of Laujar de Andarax, one of the prettiest towns in Andalusia, located in the Sierra Nevada natural park. This is a great base to explore the local area with a wide range of outdoor activities.

The house is located in the town centre and is on two floors, with a large terrace, full bathroom, kitchen, three bedrooms, large lounge with a chimney and everything you need during your stay.
LOCATION
The town is well-known for being the birthplace of the poet Villaespesa, and also for its church, monastery and bi-centenial bullring, as well as for the river source, a natural beauty surrounded by pine trees and the hills of Laujar, and mountains of the Sierra Nevada.
You can do lots of hiking here, along old railway lines and in the town of Bayarcal you will find the longest zipwire in Andalusia. For hiking fans you will find the great trail SULAIR which is the longest in Andalusia.
One and a half hour's drive away is the town of Pulpi where you will find the largest geode in Europe. If you decide to visit then it is best to buy the tickets in advance. This is a half day trip, for the remainder of the day it is well worth a visit to Vera and its beaches, you will feel like you are in the Caribbean.
Also one a half hour's drive away is Aguaamarga, a small fishing village where you can eat the catch of the day at the water's edge, from here you can travel to San Jose and see its famous beaches, and a visit to Mojacar is obligatory, mountains and sea, and home of the legendary Mini Hollywood in the Tabernas desert. You will recognise the landscape as many of the most famous westerns were filmed here. The park also puts on shows and has an animal park.
