There are also numerous hiking trails and for bird lovers, the area is known for its birdwatching.
A brief 5-minute walk will take you to the train station where you can take a quick 1-stop trip to Tavira and explore the beautiful cobbled streets, quaint hidden cafes, craft stalls along the river and live music, or travel further down the coast and explore other beautiful sea towns.
