We had a perfect stay here for a an extended family vacation before dropping our first year student at University of St. Andrews. It is an easy walk to town, the castle ruins and East sands beach. The kitchen had everything we needed in order to make simple meals at home. I made use of the hot tub several times and it was so nice in the evening after so much walking! The host was very attentive to our messages and even messaged me after I left as we had left a jacket behind.
Really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed in central St Andrew’s. Our kids loved the hot tub and bunk beds and the house decor. The only slight downside we found was that the hot tub hadn’t been heated in advance so when we went to use it after arrival it was cold and took overnight to heat up. You also need to be out of the hot tub by 10pm which meant my husband and I didn’t get much chance to use it after settling our 3 kids. Overall a great place to stay.
We always go to St Andrews for masters weekend , Property was outstanding, highly recommend it, everything you need and more, would definitely return to this property, great communication with the host Carolyn
Property was lovely! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Very comfortable for 4 people. Nice touches with Snacks, drinks and coffee. Very close to restaurants but a little bit of walk to the old course with clubs. Highly recommend to pre arrange taxis as they do book up. Would recommend adding directions for working heat, air and light switches as they were a little confusing.
We were very happy with the property with the exception of the television and speaker systems not working. However, if ai was taking the same trip, I would stay in the same location.
Carolyn’s home is beautiful, well-appointed and ideally situated for a stay in charming St. Andrews. She has thought of everything needed for a comfortable arrangement and the house is impeccably clean. I would definitely stay here again. I wrote Carolyn before and during the stay with some questions and she responded immediately and kindly. Highly recommend.
We’ve been coming to St Andrews for 4 years since our daughter was attending university here. This is the nicest flat we’ve rented so far. 3 full bedrooms and a snug if you need it (we didn’t). Kitchen is well appointed, with a high end espresso maker and milk steamer. We had our daughter and several of her friends to dinner. Very easy to cook there, and the enclosed eating space on the porch was lovely. Overall, very pleased.
Perfect base to explore St Andrews and it's surrounding areas!
Absolutely loved St Andrews and the property was top class & finished to a high standard throughout with a rear patio & hot tub area that gets the sun for most of the afternoon & early evening. The photos do not do it justice at all so we were pleasantly surprised at all of the little extras. The centre of St. Andrews is only a short walk away with lots of pubs, bars & restaurants. Booking is essential, especially at weekends.
Carolyn, our host was extremely helpful & responsive to any enquiries we had during our stay and we were impressed with our experience from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.
What an amazing short-term rental!
It's probably one of the best we have ever stayed in—immaculate, comfortable beds with wonderful high-quality bed linen, a fabulous, powerful shower and every extra you could think of even for your electric car. It felt like a 5-star hotel/accommodation.
My adult kids and I loved the fancy coffee machine which made amazing coffee, the jacuzzi, and the way everything was so modern but cozy at the same time. Carolyn the owner was exceptional and when I contacted her with a question she replied immediately and with the solution.
The location was also perfect as it was just a short walk to the main street.
We were there for a weekend wedding so I didn't get to stay in the house as much as I would have liked but I hope I get the chance to return.

We had a nice stay at the property. It's just a short walk into town. The rooms are very comfortable and the property was very clean and recently renovated. Great kitchen area and they provided nice basic amenities upon arrival. The outdoor area was small but nice with a hot tub and gas grill to use. There is a sitting area that is glassed in so it was nice and warm from the natural heat from the sun on the cool afternoons. The owner, Carolyn, was very accommodating and was easy to communicate with. The only negative I can think of is that, while attractive, the manufactured simulated wood floors are very creaky. No getting around without the rest of the house knowing your up in the middle of the night! :)) Other than that minor issue, I definitely recommend this property.
Clean, tidy, hi-tech, 5 mi. Walk to town, hot tub.
Only challenge was 7 ladies one shower, but we knew that before we arrived… and more mirrors would help too… otherwise super!
Beautiful high end property, scrupulously clean with fantastic facilities. The garden with hot tub was amazing. There was a lovely welcome pack with chocolate biscuits, Eden gin cocktails and crisps. We would may be suggest a small bottle of milk with the welcome pack to allow a coffee or tea on arrival. Tiny little point and we all will be happy to recommend this property and St Andrews as a brilliant place for a short break.
Great mini break in St Andrews. Hiring a house much more economical for a group of 6 than a hotel.
House is ideally placed for getting around. Didn’t need the car at all until it was time to leave.
House is clean, modern and well looked after, the hot tub is an added bonus and it has everything you could need.
If you’re thinking about St Andrews, especially for a group, then check this one out.
This was the perfect house for our family vacation. Everything was spotless and there were lots of amenities that were above and beyond our expectations. We especially appreciated the wine fridge! The location was very close to the town center, so we were able to walk everywhere with ease. And the hot tub was the perfect way to wind down after a day exploring the area. We'll definitely be back!
