Converted mill with private pool. Beautifully furnished and fully equipped. Private walled garden. Located in the hamlet of La Molineta near the white village of Frigiliana. A beautiful house decorated with hand made tiles and original artwork.
The house is on two floors. On the ground floor is a lovely rustic kitchen with breakfast bar, a twin bedroom and bathroom. Leading from the kitchen is the lounge with wood burning stove, views to the sea and wooden floor. Joined to the lounge through an arch is the dining room with French doors opening to the dining terrace with built in BBQ and the sun terrace with private pool (6m.x4m.)
Cleaning
we have been using the same local team of cleaners for more almost 30 years with consistently superb results.
The house is cleaned thoroughly for each new arrival and then weekly if you stay longer.
All towels, beach towels and linens sent out to a professional laundry where they are washed at high temperatures and with products that kill 100% of germs and bacteria.
All linen is changed for each stay and then weekly.
All floors and surfaces are sanitised with bleach at least once a week.
I live nearby so can provide for anything else you need during your stay with me.

Stephen Todd, my beloved late husband, was an architect and allegedly retired in 1997 when he moved to this little, perfect corner of Spain, his spiritual home. He was a man and son of Frigiliana.
He accidentally started to adopt and foster abandoned dogs and cat - 100s of them, over the years. As at 2025, I currently care for the remaining 6 of our furry family.
His previous partner, Jackie, wrote about their move to Spain and adopting the animals. This book is a great summer read and will give you an insight to the caring nature of Stephen. Her book 'Dog Days in Andalucia' is available from Amazon.
I met Stephen in 2010 and I was extraordinarily lucky that he fell in love and married me in 2011. He changed my life for the better and we spent a fabulous 14 years together, full of love and laughter. I hope to continue his legacy of generosity of spirit and welcome . I live close by, providing on site help as and when needed.

Why they chose this property
You only have to walk in to La Casa Rosa to be transported to a world of Arabian nights. This stunning house was part of a group of flour and olive mills driven by water brought from the mountains in channels built by the Moors. It has been sensitively converted to maintain the character and beautifully decorated with handmade tiles and original ceramics and paintings.
