Right on the coast

The location of Opale is beautiful. The view from any of the many terraces is breathtaking! It's about a 10/15 minute walk from town but you barely notice due to the amazing view. We ran into the owner, who was lovely and had some great restaurant recommendations. Luigi, the property manager, is so helpful and friendly. Our three teenage kids enjoyed their private space and a break from the hot sun. The loft is a special spot! We would love to come back someday as it was a magical vacation!

Overall nice place, but for a few details.

Stunning views of Amalfi and roomy rental for a family or friends. However, the listing clearly stated access to a pool and there was no access, and the pool that the host recommended (for a fee) wasn't easy to get too and wasn't open once we got there. Also, the walk from town was a bit longer than expected (20 minutes) which added up on a hot day. Overall, felt that they host could have provided more information about how to get around, recommendations, etc, and how to use the appliances. Also thought the place could have had a few more supplies, like trash bags, paper towels and cleaning spray and sample coffees to use in the coffee machine so we knew what to buy.

The Incredible View

Two couples travelling together..... After a long day exploring, This was the perfect place to be at the end of the day. The view was spectacular and would be hard to replicate. Truly fabulous. The tradeoff was getting to and from Amalfi center. Hundreds of steps down and up, would be a deal breaker for some. Took us 20 min. of fast and strenuous walking to get to the center (buses and ferries). Option: 30 Euro cab ride each way. Really nice to have two separate bedrooms and baths but the upstairs plumbing was finicky. There were times when either the toilet or shower wouldn't work, had to wait for water supply to build back up. All and all I can easily recommend this property but be aware of the tradeoffs. Very light on amenities, even had to ask for more toilet paper! Embarrassing as that's has never happened to us.

Great location and an extraordinary view!

This property is very spacious and located walking distance to the town center and a public beach with 300+ steps downward after a short walk away from town. The building is in excellent condition and extremely well maintained, the rooms are spacious, and the patio that overlooks the Amalfi coast is breathtaking. The coast views are truly spectacular. The pictures of this place do not do it justice. Our family truely enjoyed staying here.

Family vacation

Wonderful villa but kitchen tiles in bad condition and need to be replaced. Also ants from pomegranate tree brings into house. Needed more than ant traps. Luigi fixed issue.

Loved everything about this property!

The location was fabulous, the views were stunning, the traditional light filled rooms with gorgeous terraces and the doors and windows leading out to them were stunning. I loved this property, filled with Italian charm!! I highly recommend this gorgeous villa overlooking the sea!!!

Excellent stay in a wonderful location

We had an excellent stay in Amalfi. This property is well located about a 10-15 min walk up the hill from Amalfi center. The view from the deck is beautiful. Having 4 beds was needed for our group, and it was very nice that the bedrooms all had A/C. Luigi is incredibly helpful and welcoming. And make sure to checkout the garden on the roof!
