Angie is an amazing host!! Communication was great!!! Answered phone on first call and answered all questions. The cabin is amazing and has lots of games!!! Definitely would stay again!!! Price is great for all the entertainment!!!
We loved the location of the cabin, cabin was very neat and clean, neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend this cabin for newlyweds!!
Cabin was incredible with beautiful sunset views. Kids absolutely loved the hot tub and arcade games after a long day of hiking. Location is perfect between two main towns for picking up necessities or food for your stay. Overall, loved our time here!!
We stayed for the weekend and had the best time! The view was amazing to say the least. The location was perfect between Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge. There was so much to do in each city for kids of all ages. We throughly enjoyed our trip and are looking forward to planning our next trip!

Nice location, very rustic
Perfect location for everything in the area. Cabin is very rustic, though, and could use a deep clean. Views shown on vrbo are not what ypu can see from the balconies. But kids enjoyed the cabin and we didn't spend a lot of time there so it worked for us.
Our stay was amazing , was there on a 4 year anniversary trip. The view form the arcade and bed room is stunning we was able to see the whole pigeons forge from the cabin on top of the mountain. Only negative thing I can find is the windows and under the bed needs a little cleaning but that didt effect our stay.(Take A Rental Car if possible !!!)
This is a great cabin convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We all enjoyed the video games and air hockey game. The back porch was nice and we especially liked the swing. However, the cabin could use a deep clean, there were so many spiderwebs on the top porch that we didn't want to go out there. The downstairs bathroom smelled like mildew and then I realized it was the bathmat so I washed it. I wiped down all the surfaces as well. I would also suggest a lamp in the bedroom.

Needs work
The cabin was nice. Outside porches should have been swept for cobwebs before arrival. Inside was also a bit dusty. The hot tub leaked and only half the jets work. There were some minor repairs needed also. The location was great and quiet.

Beautiful
Amazing view . Top floor windows need to be cleaned tho . This is our second time staying in it. Could be cleaner. Contacted manger/ owner 2 times and had no messages back . Love this cabin tho!
we had a great time at the cabin, only thing i can say negative is the drive to it. being from south Mississippi flat lands going to the top of that mountain scared the crap out of me. but i did find that there was a back way and i didn't have to drive up that incline. other than that it was great next time ill make sure to find out details on how the drive to cabin is first before booking
WOW This place needs a deep cleaning. The wife and i have been going to pigeon forge for over 25 years and this place is the worst we have stayed at. Don't plan on seeing downtown like it shows in the pics because that won't happen. We are far from picky people but this place is horrible. When you go to the store to buy meals for the week don't forget lysol.
City Bear was a great cabin and fun for our family. When checking in I texted numbers provided and was able to check in early. The roads to the cabin were not bad and a great quiet location. Few travelers going by. There is a cabin right beside but with the the greenery u still have your privacy. The arcarde games all worked well and we had a fun competition of who could catch the largest fish. At night you can see the city lights and the wheel at The Island in Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed setting on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub. For the hot tub the top is slightly difficult to get off due to a small area between the hot tub and cabin wall but doable. Kitchen was stocked nicely and cabin was very clean. The cabin actually was larger than expected compared to pictures and we had plenty of room. Would definitely stay here again! Great hosts!
Nice little cabin on a mountain (literally! The driveway is straight up!) Perfect spot for us as we wanted to stay out of the city. Check-in was a breeze. Upstairs loft bedroom/gameroom was absolutely perfect! We spent every night there playing games! The only thing i would say would've made our stay a bit more comfortable would be if they had cleaned off the decks/balconies so there wasn't spider webs with giant spiders all over outside, but its what you expect in nature. We did get to see a bear up close and personal our last morning there! Walked up the road right up to our cabin! Would recommend this to anyone needing a quiet place to stay with teens!

City Bear cabin TN
The location was truly a challenge. Steep mountains no guardrails ending on a high top unsaved, gravel road. Fair warning would have been great. An adventure!
As far as the inside of the cabin sadly, it was filthy seen Dawn kept one toilet was not flushed. The linens were dirty and the pillows were badly stained, smelled putrid, rancid smelling.i was so disappointed. Other than that the cabin has so much potential If you get a new cleaning crew.
It was a good place, it needed some cleaning on the porches. Sticky stff on outside coffee table and on remotes, old dry toothpaste on wall in bathroom. Some utensils in kitchen drawers were dirty. Very comfy house, location was good. No closets. Celing fan in master didnt work. Spiral saircase is very steep likea ladder. Hot tub didnt work but notified owner and she sent someone out within an hour. Looking out over balcony off masterbedroom you could see trash on the ground. Game roo. Was nice except you have to plug everything in andthst wasnt very easy but we dd really enjoy are stay.

Disappointing
We were all looking forward to the cabin & it was nothing but disappointing. We get there & the hottub was throwing a fl1 code called the property manger & the sent someone the next day just for it to still not work. None of the accommodations were there! No ac filter in the ac, dust & trash everywhere. Blood & a panty liner on the lower bedroom pillows. Just all around not a good stay, especially for the price we paid!

Could be better .. great location.
We called about early check in and they would let us know if it’s available which clearly wasn’t but that’s ok , if it was clean .
I had some concerns about cleanliness, spots on sheets , floors were dirty and the showers needed a simple scrubbing . Had there been a broom we could of cleaned up , even after our selves . I recommend that for sure .
The property was nice except for the styrofoam outside over the bank , but in fairness looks hard to get too.
The location is nice because you are within a easy distance of both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and the Park.
Games were fun in the cabin although one wasn’t working and we let them know and someone was to come out but never did but wasn’t a big deal.
The view is ok , I’m sure in the fall or winter it is beautiful when the leaves are down .
Overall the price was great and location , cleanliness needs an effort and this could get a five star .
This cabin, its views, and amenities are wonderful. It is close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge which is a plus. For flatlanders like us, the steep roads were a challenge, but it was an adventure every time we left and returned!
Unfortunately, the cabin is in need of a drastic deep clean, which we did notice in previous reviews. We had hoped the management had taken their advice. While cooking on the stove, dust bunnies came floating down from the loft above, which was definitely not appetizing. The windows are in need of washing, window casings are full of bugs and dust, window blinds had a large layer of dust. Floors were not clean. Master bathroom toilet and floor smelled of urine, dried toothpaste stuck to the wood paneling near the sink. Master bedroom sheets and pillows smelled of body oils and had stains. Sticky substance on tables and outdoor furniture.
This cabin could be an amazing place to stay. It is obvious management is aware of these problems, but assuming they don’t want to correct them. Please hire a new cleaning crew!! We would love to stay here again, but only if deep cleaned.
