All the doors and windows are fitted with mosquito nets. Breakfast outside on the WOW veranda is the best way to start your day, especially when you can pick your own mangos, avocados and bananas when they're in season. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and clean apartment with an amazing view of the lush greenery in Grenada. Elvis was very friendly and even generous enough to pick us up from the airport, which we really appreciated. The apartment is just a short drive from town, making it convenient for exploring the area.However, the listing was a bit misleading — the photo of the beach made it seem like the apartment was located right next to or very close to the beach, which it isn’t. Additionally, there was no air conditioning in the apartment. While Elvis provided fans, they weren’t quite enough to keep the entire space cool, especially during the day.Overall, it’s a peaceful and scenic place with a great host, but guests should be aware of the distance from the beach and lack of A/C before booking.

Lovely apartment under owners home in the valley above St George’s. Sadly no air con or adequate fans although doors to open onto verandah if you can suffer the mosquito bites. On bus route into St George’s and from there you need to change to get to beaches etc. buses are something else!!

Nice stay

Liz and Elvis were great hosts, communication throughout our stay was spot on. The area is very peaceful and quiet. The apartment was nice and clean it was exactly as advertised. It was well equipped with cookware and utensils. There were towels there that could be used and we were provided with new bedding at the end of the week.There are a significant number of steps to the apartment as it is located on a hill. It’s definitely a workout but we managed it. Unfortunately, even though previous reviews and the welcome pack mentioned the availability of air-con at an extra cost per day, there was no air-con which was disappointing so inside the apartment was very hot particularly at night. There is a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, however it was not very effective. The second bedroom also had a plug-in fan. Though the living space was hot we caught a lovely breeze on the veranda which was nice where we would often sit and relax in the evenings. There were a few issues with the Wi-Fi while we were there. There were a few times where there was no Wi-Fi at all but for the most part it worked. Elvis offered us a taxi service on a few occasions at a cost when we needed to get around which was helpful particularly on Sundays when the buses don’t run as frequently. Overall we had a nice stay at ELIZ apartment. Elvis and Liz kindly gave us some of their pears to go home with. It was a pleasure meeting them.

Grenada was awesome

Lizzie and Elvis's property was more than we expected. It was clean, beautiful and very comfortable. We loved to open the doors and go outside on the deck where we spent much of our time. The location was great for us as we had a vehicle but we also walked a lot as well. We really enjoyed and appreciated Lizzie and Elvis. They are awesome people who know how to balance being helpful but not intrusive....cannot say enough good things about them. Overall, we have nothing but great things to say about the entire experience. When, not if, we return to Grenada, our first communication will be with Elvis and Lizzie. We hope that the future holds nothing but great things for Elvis and Lizzie.

The owners met us at the airport and gave us great advise on the area and even arranged a car for us to rent. We stayed for almost two months and loved the island. Great experience and would do it again.

Great time in Grenada

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elliz. The home is beautiful and spotless. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware so we were able to prepare many of our own meals and eat on the gorgeous front veranda. Although Lizzie and Elvis were away traveling they made sure that our every need was met. Lizzie is very responsive to questions. She coordinated a car rental for us as well as provided for the rental company to escort us to the property. There were no details missed. We highly recommend staying at Elliz and hope to return to Grenada again some day. Perfect family vacation!!! Highly recommend!!

Excellent Accommodation

Elliz apartment is immaculately clean. We stayed 10 days and Elvis & Liz made us very welcome even picking us up from the airport. The apartment has everything you need for your stay, good WiFi and a well equipped kitchen and a nice large fridge to store your Carib’s in ! The apartment is located on top of a hill so wherever you walk you have a steep incline to negotiate on your way back but the public transport is cheap and plentiful and buses will drop you right at the back door. Would highly recommend this property.

Absolutely beautiful.

My family and I spent eight days at Lizzie and Elvis property. Absolutely pleasant individuals with great service. When we arrived, they were there to greet us and show us around explaining everything about Grenada and the property. Although the road to come up was a task. It was amazing workout. The location is great overlooking a beautiful Grenada. Our stay was great. Thanks again Lizzie and Elvis.

Fabulous location, amazing hosts, spotless accommodation

This is our first holiday to the Caribbean and what a perfect introduction to Grenada. Our hosts Lizzie and Elvis couldn’t have done more to make our visit comfortable, informative and very welcoming. The accommodation was first rate with amazing decor and all the comforts of home. The outside terrace was a wonderful place to relax and admire the garden (and it’s wildlife) and views over the local hillsides. The location was central for getting to excellent restaurants and beaches. We loved it and will be back!

Property is exactly what we expected immaculate, beautiful and fully equipped. As a family if 6 it was perfect for us. With beautiful views and being central to main town ST George’s it was great. Both Lizzie and Elvis (owners) are the loveliest hosts, they go that extra mile to make your stay most enjoyable. They involved our children in fun walks and On the first night they ensured we had food to eat and even arranged our car hire for next day. Very caring and hospitable couple. One of the best apartments in Grenada.

We stayed at Lizzies apartment from the 8th-22nd August. This was during the carnival weekend. Lizzie and Elvis where very accommodating, from picking us up at the airport to taking us to various events that was going on over the weekend. Elvis was fantastic in helping us get settled in, he took us to the best food spots and to the supermarket to pick up groceries. The villa is as seen in the photos with Liz and Elvis living in the rooms above.The location is a short walk up the hill from the St George's harbor and carenage. Grand Anse beach is a 10 min $2.50EC bus ride away, town centre is of similar distance, but nothing is too far away! The apartment is all white and to a high European standard. There are 3 bedrooms all with double beds two rooms have air con units one with a fan all the rooms are relaxing and comfortable. There is one bathroom with shower unit, which like the rest of the apartment is of high standard. The outside veranda has fantastic views of the countryside. Spent many hours just chilling taking in the view. Pro : Great location, although may consider a car rental to get about. : High quality apartment Cons : AC has a charge of $7EC per day be mindful of running up the bill. Overall we had a fantastic time and I would happily book to stay at Lizzie's apartment again.

Beautifully decorated apartment very clean and lovely views of the valley on the other side of the ridge (that would overlook the harbor). Nothing within walking distance but really close to drive to St Georges, Grand Anse Beach, shopping and restaurants. We had a lovely covered porch that we had cocktail hour every evening. We never used the AC ( it is an extra charge if you want it)as the Island breeze was enough to cool off the master bedroom. My sister in the back bedroom only had one window so it was a little stuffy. Our host gave her a table top fan that worked great. No ceiling fans which was surprising but I guess electric is uber expensive on the Island. We had a wonderful time diving and exploring the Island. Be prepared for a very hilly experience. We never realized that only the beach is flat the rest of the Island is mostly built into the hills. So the rental has 30 or so stairs you have to climb to get from the front door to your car. Still totally worth it. Would stay there again.

Clean and spotless property! Managed by delightful owners, who were willing to help in anyway they could. Only limitation for bigger family or groups is there is one shared bathroom, but this didn’t affect our trip in any way. Would stay here again and highly recommend. Thank you!

Wonderful in every way!

I thoroughly recommend this apartment without hesitation. It is beautifully maintained and in a great location on the top of the hill next to the governor’s mansion. It is surrounded in mature bush and catches the breezes on hot days. If anything, the photographs don’t do the property justice. It is extremely well equipped, tastefully furnished, decorated to a very high standard and it includes sole use of a vast terrace overlooking the countryside. Lizzie and Elvis are perfect hosts. They are very supportive, organised and totally trustworthy. They took us to interesting places in their car, and introduced us to some of her friends. They were very discreet but always on hand if needed. You could arrive with nothing if you wanted to, everything is provided. Grand Anse, Grenada’s most popular beach is about 15 minutes away by car, and there is an excellent bus service giving you access all over the islandif you prefer not to drive. The Centre of St Georges is a 15 minute walk, a beautiful and interesting town. Lizzie provided all the provisions we needed for the first day and collected us from the airport, free of charge. I don't believe we could have found a better place to relax and enjoy ourselves.

5 Star!!

Without doubt this is an exceptional apartment! Stylishly decorated, comfortable, very clean and well-equipped. We spent many happy hours relaxing on the veranda with views of the mountains in the distance. The location is excellent being near to bus stops and a short downhill walk into town to the beach, numerous restaurants, bars and shops. Could it get any better? Well, yes as the hosts, Liz and Elvis are truly amazing! From booking to meeting us at the airport, communication was faultless. They are such friendly and kind people who went out of their way to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. Brilliant!

Wonderful apartment and wonderful hosts.

While telling someone of a great place to stay on Grenada I pulled up the listing and to my surprise I didn't see my review! Don't know what happened. So better late than never! My wife and I stayed for a week in February, 2014. Would have loved to have stayed longer, perhaps next time. When looking at pictures of prospective places to stay many places looked staged. These pictures are as it is. It's a wonderful apartment, kept looking like new. The view is amazing and we enjoyed all our meals out on the deck overlooking the valley. The apartment had everything you would need. The nicest touch was the 'welcome basket' of food and drink upon our arrival, basic needs to get you going. Lizzie and Elvis really made us feel welcome. The location is very quiet and close to the bus route. We'd walk down to town and sometimes catch the local bus back. We didn't have a car and found we didn't need one. One day Lizzie and Elvis took us out on a trip around the island, really enjoyed it. On another evening we went out to a beach bar and enjoyed a great evenings entertainment where I believe Sabrina was singing. We didn't eat out too much, preferring to eat in and enjoy the view. The island is still quiet compared to others in the Caribbean which just adds to the charm. It is safe and the people were very friendly. We loved it. Would definitely go again and highly recommend it.

Relax and live the moment !

My wife and I spent 16 nights at Elliz Apartment and had a fabulous holiday! The apartment was immaculate and as described in the many reviews. We found the veranda, the view and sound system particularly relaxing. In fact, we don’t know if the TV worked, we never tried it (that’s a first !). Buses are easily accessible and fun, we opted for the flexibility and convenience of a car hire for the last 11 days. Lizzie & Elvis arranged it for us with a local company they know, was fabulous. We’ve been to many Caribbean islands, this one is different than most, its still very authentic and not overly spoiled by commercial tourism, its very safe and the people are genuinely friendly. There’s lots to see and do and nothing is really far (Elliz Apartment is centrally/well located), you can easily drive around the entire island same day. The beaches are among the nicest we’ve ever seen with beautiful trees providing lots of natural shade (no need for umbrellas !). As much as this is a great place to stay, the hosts make it really special! They are truly hospitable and exceptional hosts! Very respectful of your privacy yet readily available to guide you with their local knowledge and genuinely interested in making sure you have a great holiday. They were kind enough to invite us on some of their outings which we really appreciated. We discovered some places that we likely wouldn’t have otherwise (the jazz jam session certainly a highlight !). We truly enjoyed their company and meeting some of their friends. Overall it was a wonderful vacation and taste of a true caribbean experience! Many thanks to Lizzie and Elvis, we wish you the best and hope to see you again soon! We highly recommend.

Lovely, immaculate apartment with great views. Terrific owners made it a holiday to cherish.

My husband and I travelled from the UK and stayed at Elliz Apartment for three weeks in February. Our first trip to Grenada and we loved it. There is little I can add to all of the positive comments left by others. Wide range of restaurants and every place we visited served very good, high quality food. Prices are delightfully reasonable (but I am used to London). The photo of the living room doesn't do it justice - with the double doors open the veranda will become part of your living space. We ate all of our meals outdoors. Never tired of the view. We used the buses often and they're very economical and great fun. I do suggest that you be prepared to climb in and out to accommodate other passengers and be jostled around a bit and it's a tight squeeze when the van is full. Enjoy! We did. Between the buses and taxis we managed without a car. We took a one-day guided tour with Sunsation Tours. We did their Tutti Frutti tour and highly recommend it. Lizzie and Elvis are fabulous hosts. A lovely couple who are really keen to ensure that their guests enjoy Grenada and are comfortable in their accommodation.
