Comfortable little place near the center of culture, shopping & food.

Fantastic experience for two nights exploring COMO with my daughter, we walked safely around town and had a wonderful time. Comfortable bed, sheets, couch. Absolutely stay here if you have a chance!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The homeowner is a Godsend. He went above and beyond to help us navigate an uncertain predicament in a foreign country. Be careful where you park your car! (Ours was towed.)

Great location in the Old Town just off a small square with plenty of shops, bars and resturants.

When I paid the deposit for this property I did not realise I had signed up to a subscription! I thought I had made a one off payment. The second payment was taken two weeks early with no notification. The Vrbo website clearly stated in two places that my final payment was not due until 2 June yet the payment was taken on 18 june. Trying to communicate with the host company about this was useless. In the appartment- there is paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom in large chunks and in the hall way. The property smelt damp on arrival. The dome above the mirror leaks when there is heavy rain. The lamp on the left hand side of the bed did not work. There are no TV instructions in English. There are no instructions about the rubbish in English. There is a small gate which is locked by the neighbour at night. It is very dark where this gate is and difficult to find the right key to open this gate when you return of an evening. There has been too much communication via different methods with the host company- whatts app, e mails and the Vrbo web site. With messages crossing over and different staff asking the same messages which I had already responded to but on a different platform! The contract is 8 pages long!!!! When I tried to read it by enlarging it on my phone screen the words became blurred. I therefore did not sign it and I did not provide a credit card for breakages. On a positive note the bed is really comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom and shower are great. Overall a very interesting building which has been modernised to a high standard but I won't be returning and I won't recommend it to friends or family. I have stayed in several properties using the Vrbo site and never had the hassle I have experienced with this property.

We informed HomeAway and they proceed to the refund and contacted you. We would appreciated that you informed us during your stay about the different problems you had in the apartment. We are always available to assist our guests and find solution or explain them some documents in english. Our digital guest book sent to you few days before your arrival is also in english with all the information you may need during your stay.
