Magnificent Scottish Country House near Dunkeld, Perthshire.<br>
Stenton House is the perfect house for a family gathering, a salmon fishing week or a special celebration. There are seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, providing accommodation for up to 14 guests. The dining room table seats 12 comfortably.
There is a private principal bedroom suite, with a dressing room and well-appointed bathroom, leading from the master bedroom. Six further bedrooms, four of which have en-suite bathrooms and a separate family bathroom complete the first and second floor accommodation.
Games room with snooker table and outdoor tennis court.
The accommodation briefly comprises:

Entrance hall, Dining room, Drawing room, large Kitchen/ Breakfast room, Conservatory, Games room, Office, Utility room, Cloakroom, 2 x W/C’s.
First Floor
Master bedroom (en-suite & dressing room), 2 x Double/Twin Bedrooms (both en-suite), 2 x Double/Twin Bedrooms, Family bathroom, Laundry
Second Floor
2 x Double/Twin Bedrooms (both en-suite)
Dogs
Dogs are not allowed in the house but there are indoor kennels in an adjacent outbuilding.
Gardens
The gardens and grounds have been carefully designed and laid out to give privacy and a magnificent setting for Stenton House. On the south side of the house parterres lie on either side of ornate stone steps with box hedges, paved paths and manicured flower beds. Impressive lawns sweep from the terrace by the house down to a beech hedge that leads to the river bank and an attractive barbecue area with stunning views over the river. To the east of the house the drive is flanked by immaculate lawns and impressive topiarised cypress trees. A children’s play area and a recently resurfaced tennis court sit at the far end of the garden protected by a beech hedge.

There is a recently resurfaced tennis court for Stenton House guests to enjoy.
Dunkeld
The ancient town of Dunkeld lies three miles north-west, on the north bank of the River Tay. Once the ecclesiastical capital of Scotland, the picturesque town is steeped in Scottish history and is the setting of the magnificent Dunkeld Cathedral, which dates from the 14th Century. Today, Dunkeld serves the surrounding rural community with several independent shops and services that cater for day-to-day needs including several hotels and restaurants. The neighbouring village of Birnam, which is well-known by literary enthusiasts as the favoured Scottish holiday-spot of Beatrix Potter, has a railway station which provides sleeper services to London, as well as more local connections to Perth, Pitlochry, Inverness, Edinburgh and Stirling.
Local attractions include the Hermitage Woodland Gorge, Birnam Arts and Conference Centre and Beatrix Potter Exhibition Centre, the Loch of the Lowes Visitor Centre and Wildlife Reserve, as well as the House of Bruar Retail Centre and Blair Castle at Blair Atholl.
Dunkeld Golf Course is one of the most picturesque in Highland Perthshire.
Mountain bike and Electric Mountain hire can be arranged in Dunkeld.
