The memorial of remembrance
Installed in the bunkers of Bastion 32, which were built in 1874 as part of the reinforcement of coastal defense, Bastion 32 was the headquarters of the French and Allied Forces during the Battle of Dunkirk and Operation Dynamo. The Dunkirk 1940 Museum tells the story of this battle and the evacuation of more than 330,000 Allied soldiers from the "Dunkirk Pocket" in 9 days. The 9 days that changed the fate of the world!

Super verblijf

Onze vakantie in L'Escale Malouine is supergoed geweest. Onze gastvrouw Véronique was de vriendelijkheid en de behulpzaamheid zelve. Geen inspanning was teveel voor haar om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het mooie oude huis straalde rust en charme uit. Een aanrader qua verhouding prijs/kwaliteit/ligging. Un lieu parfait à DK

Wahou, c’était le premier mot que l’on a tous dit en entrant dans L’escale Malouine. Nous étions 10 et nous avons pu profiter des 5 chambres avec chacune salle de bain et toilette. Le lieu de vie et la salle à manger sont top aussi! En terme d’emplacement c’est parfait, à quelques minutes à pied de la digue. Bref si nous revenons à DK ça sera direct là-bas! Merci à Veronique pour la communication en amont et pendant le séjour.

Wonderful Stay at L'escale Malouine

This historic building was in a great location. Minutes away from grocery, wine, cheese, and shops. Far enough from the hustle and bustle of the beach, but close enough to walk the boardwalk about 5-10 mins away. Each room was nicely decorated and very comfortable and each room had its own bathroom which was great. The kitchen had everything our group needed. Our host was amazing and informative. It was our first time staying in Dunkerque, and I look forward to coming back.

Très bon séjour, maison idéale!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, dans cette maison situé en centre ville! A l'intérieur de la maison, l'espace est très bien réparti, nous étions 10, nous avions tous notre espace et notre intimité. Nous avons vraiment passé un excellent week-end !
