About the host
Hosted by Host
Simon and I moved in to Ty Isar Plwyf in early October 2018 and are delighted to be taking over the running of Dee Valley Cottages.
Our two lovely cottages, Swallows and Wagtails, were converted from derelict 17th century barns by previous owners, Richard and Jenny. It was a real labour of love for them and not without its challenges! But as planned, they opened in May 2006 and have welcomed numerous guests in the years since then, with many returning year after year. When the time came for Richard and Jenny to move on, they were looking for someone who would love and care for this beautiful place, as they had done for so many years. We fell instantly in love with Ty Isar Plwyf, the two cottages and the stunning location with its breathtaking views over the Dee Valley. We hope we can continue as they did and welcome guests to share this little piece of paradise for many years to come.
