Apartment at The Red Barn

We provide a spacious studio room in a newly converted 18th Century barn with kitchen and ensuite facilities, equipped with a TV, radio, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. We provide a welcome pack on your arrival which includes milk, cereal, tea and coffee, parking.

Your hosts Graham and Cherry are here to make your stay both enjoyable and memorable and are on hand to answer any queries or requests you may have.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

We do not have a minimum nights stay requirement, but will process payments via Cash, Cheque or bank transfer.
Graham the winner of the Bed & Breakfast Channel 4 'Four in a Bed' competition is a member of the Oxford Pipe Band and would be happy to serenade guests outside their room during their stay should they so request.

Local Stores
The nearest shop and post office are in the village of Clifton Hampden, 1 mile away. Alternatively there is a Tesco on the outskirts of Didcot (3 miles) which has a cash machine.
Location
Situated on the banks of the river Thames, Long Wittenham is an old Saxon village. It has a Norman church, two village pubs providing excellent food and wine, a miniature railway museum, peaceful walks and close by is an 18 hole golf course.

Transport facilities
We are 20 minutes drive from Oxford and 10 minutes drive from Didcot main line railway station, which has a 40 minute high speed link to/from Paddington as well as local trains to/from Oxford (10mins)
We are also located near Culham Science Centre (2 miles). Didcot (3 miles), Milton Park (5 miles), Abingdon (5 miles) Harwell (6 miles) and Oxford (8 miles). Only one hours drive from Heathrow.

We only accept cash or cheques at the property as 'Payment on Arrival'.
