Double Rooms at Regency Guest House

Our 2 double bedrooms with private bathrooms and use of a shared kitchen all have modern furnishings, a comfortable double bed with duck and down feather duvets and pillows. The private bathroom is located next door to the room and contains a shower, hand basin and toilet. Each room has a flat screen TV, DAB radio, hair dryer and free Wi-Fi access and laundry and cooking facilities are available to use in the new and fully equipped shared kitchen. Our light and airy rooms have a tasteful décor and park views. These rooms have small single futon beds available for use, these beds are for occasional use and more suited to a child or small adult. If you wish to book the futon for use you must select a third person and this will instruct us to provide you with the extra bedding needed.

We have rooms on the ground, second and third floor. If you have a preference please email/telephone the hotel before placing your booking.

Please note that due to current government restrictions we have closed our shared kitchens when more than one household books a room that has access. If you booking is reliant on having kitchen access please email/call the hotel in advance to discuss.

Regency Guest House is an independent boutique hotel in the heart of Cambridge, housed in two neighbouring Victorian buildings overlooking the beautiful 25-acre Parker’s Piece. Built in 1850, the property retains the charm and character of a traditional Victorian townhouse while offering comfortable modern accommodation.

With 16 rooms and apartments, Regency House is ideal for singles, couples, families, business travellers and groups. We offer rooms with private en-suite bathrooms and rooms with shared bathroom facilities. We can accommodate larger groups together, with the option to book an entire building or both buildings exclusively. Apartments with kitchen facilities are ideal for families, longer stays and guests seeking extra space.

Our central location is perfect for exploring Cambridge. We are approximately a five-minute walk from the bus station and ten minutes from the railway station, with the city centre, University, colleges, restaurants, shops and attractions all within easy reach.

The property was fully refurbished in 2020, with modern bathrooms, furniture and fittings. All rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, comfortable mattresses and quality feather duvets and pillows. Daily housekeeping, linen and towels are provided.

Breakfast is available by pre-booking in our breakfast room in Building 7. It is £15 per person, with children under 6 eating free. Breakfast is served from 8:30am to 10:30am on weekdays and from 9:00am to 11:00am at weekends.

All guests receive an exclusive 20% discount on food and drinks at the neighbouring pub, located right next door to Regency House.

Please note that the property spans five floors and has no lift. Regency Guest House might not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties or certain disabilities.
