Set in the historic market town of Tavistock, close to the moors for exploring Dartmoor yet also within easy reach of both North and South coasts offering beautiful beaches and scenery. The property has been recently renovated to give comfort and luxury but still retaining its period charm. Offering 3 en-suite bedrooms, plus a further shower room, reception room, dining room, kitchen and utility if caters for most requirements. Nearby shops, award-winning gastro pubs and local pannier market all can be found within walking distance, together with the newly refurbished leisure centre and Mount Kelly’s Olympic Legacy swimming pool. A small courtyard is available for guests to use, together with a garden offering views of Tavistock, but as located up steep steps is possibly not ideal for children, older people or those with certain medical conditions. A statue on the side of Tavistock Town House is certainly a special feature. This Scholar of Law is believed to have been brought from the 1851 Great Exhibition of London by The Duke of Bedford. Liz and her husband made us feel incredibly welcome. From booking, to coordinating to our actual stay everything was very easy and uncomplicated.
The house itself is beautiful and comfortable and we loved staying there.
Thank you so much and if we ever come to Tavistock again, we'll definitely book with Liz again.

Lovely house in a great location.
We used to live in Tavistock & wanted a holiday let in the town. We stayed for 4 nights & would have stayed longer but it was already booked for the weekend. We visited the moors, thr beach & had a great time catching up with family & friends.

Brilliant Location
We were in the area for a wedding and need a large house to accommodate the family. I particularly liked the fact that each bedroom had its own ensuite to prevent squabbles plus an additional bathroom. The garden is particularly beautiful with lovely views over the surrounding area. Liz was very accommodating to some requests we made and came to the property to welcome us. Lovely to be in a town with access to coffee shops for breakfast and an outstanding meal at The Cornish Arms.
The house is very tastefully decorated & has everything you need. The bedrooms are all a good size with lovely en-suite bathrooms. The location is perfect with restaurants, pubs, shops, etc within easy walking distance. We didn’t want to leave & will definitely be back. Thanks Liz

I have worked in both property and tourism in the area for many years, during which time have listened to people’s requirements, so now feel we are able to offer accommodation in this lovely period Town House in a great location to make your stay in Tavistock most enjoyable. Only very favourable comments have been received from visitors following their stays at Tavistock Town House. Attention to detail together with extras such as a cream tea, toiletries, fresh flowers etc., we believe give guests the level of accommodation we would hope to receive ourselves.
