Think carefully
The apartment was clean and the furniture was modern but Penthouse, not really, it was more of a top floor flat. The view was just other roofs, unless you hung over and looked to the left and then you saw the marina.
When we got there at 8.30pm two of the bedrooms only had one spotlight working in the ceiling, the others needed replacing in both rooms. The kitchen only had one working bulb and the living area had 3. Phoned management company that night and left a message asking for the bulbs to be replaced the next day. Also sent a message direct to the host who did not respond and had to make another call to the management company the following day. The bedroom lights were eventually replaced 2 days later.
There were no shelves or drawers in 2 bedrooms so had to keep underwear, jumpers etc in the suitcase and only 3 hangers in each room. The on suite is very small and again no shelf so had to keep toiletries in the bedroom.
We read that it was noisy due to where the apartment was situated but couldn't have imagined how noisy. The bin men started at 6.30am and the shouting and banging carried on till 9.30am. No chance of any sleep after 6.30am if in the front two bedrooms and if in the other bedroom the noise in the evening from all the bars below keep you awake till the early hours.
Plymouth is worth a visit if you have never been but choose your apartment carefully.
