This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Very relaxing and clean. Great communication and information given for our stay. We could not dock our boat at the house because the water level was low but the dock they provide you with a pass for is in the same neighborhood and very convenient. Would definitely stay again.
Keep in mind it's an older place so it certainly gives 80s vibes but my husband and I enjoyed a quiet week. There was a small bump in the road but the owner is aware and we will very likely visit again.
This was a great property it had everything we needed and was a large step up from the fish camps we usually stay at in the area. One note is make sure you check water levels, the lake is currently 3 ft down and you can not use or access the dock by boat. We had to use the ramp daily, which was unfortunate as we booked the place because of the water access. Overall if the water comes up and the dock is usable it would be a perfect spot and location.
I can only write a review based on past stays at this property as we were unable to make our trip due to a back injury my husband suffered. We have stayed here many times and have nothing but good things to say. We will definitely be booking again soon.
This is a fabulous property! Me and my nephews love visiting this property every year. It’s always clean and is very accommodating. Very easy to check in and check out! Many memories have been made there. Thank you!
The A frame cottage was clean and conveniently located near the Canal Landing boat ramp. During our visit, the water pathway from the canal to the A frame's dock wasn't deep enough to comfortably navigate multiple times daily. We chose to use the boat ramp adjacent to MacDaddy's restaurant instead. Overall the A frame Cottage was a good value that I would easily recommend to others.
